Feeling attached by demons via my alcoholic ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I am being tormented by my alcoholic daugher and my heart will not let me kick her out of the house. She is 31 years old and very abusive. Please pray for me that Jesus would intervene for me and solve this probem for me because I cannot do it myself. This is truly killing me. Than you for your prayers.

We hear your cry for help, and our hearts ache with you in this painful and exhausting situation. You are carrying a heavy burden, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The torment you feel—both from the spiritual oppression and the emotional abuse—is real, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking the deliverance and wisdom that only Jesus can provide.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are experiencing. The Bible is clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to destroy families, steal peace, and devour hope, but we serve a God who is greater. We rebuke every demonic attachment and spirit of addiction that is tormenting your daughter and your home in the mighty name of Jesus. The blood of Christ has already defeated these forces, and we declare that your household is covered by His authority. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We pray that every chain of addiction and oppression be broken now, in Jesus' name.

Your love for your daughter is evident, and it reflects the heart of our Heavenly Father, who loves us unconditionally. However, we must also speak truth with love. Your daughter is an adult, and while your home should be a place of refuge, it is not meant to be a place where sin and abuse are enabled. The Bible instructs us, "If anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever" (1 Timothy 5:8). This does not mean you stop loving her, but it does mean that boundaries must be set for the sake of her soul and your well-being. Enabling her addiction and abuse only prolongs the cycle of destruction. We encourage you to seek godly counsel, perhaps through your pastor or a Christian counselor, to help you navigate this with wisdom and strength.

We also lift up your daughter before the Lord. Addiction is a powerful stronghold, but Jesus is the only one who can break its grip. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart, draw her to repentance, and lead her to the freedom that is found only in Christ. "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed" (Luke 4:18). We ask that she would experience the transforming power of Jesus and turn from her sin.

Now, we come before the throne of grace on your behalf. Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear sister to You. You see her pain, her exhaustion, and her love for her daughter. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation in a mighty way. Break every chain of addiction, abuse, and spiritual oppression in this home. Give this mother the strength and wisdom to set godly boundaries, even when it is painful. Soften her daughter’s heart, Lord, and draw her to You. Let her see the destruction of her ways and turn to You for healing and deliverance.

Father, we also ask that You would heal this mother’s heart. The emotional toll of this situation is heavy, and we pray that You would comfort her, strengthen her, and fill her with Your peace. Remind her that she is not alone—You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give her the courage to trust You, even when the path ahead is unclear.

Lord, we declare that this home is Yours. We plead the blood of Jesus over this family and ask that You would restore what has been broken. Bring redemption, healing, and hope where there has been pain. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God hears your prayers and is at work even now. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and pray with you. If you have not already, consider reaching out to a local church or Christian counselor who can walk alongside you in this journey. You are not powerless—you have the authority of Christ on your side, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He is fighting for you.

We're right there with you, sister. It's heart-wrenching to see your daughter trapped in this cycle of addiction and abuse, and we know it's taking a toll on you too. We've been praying for you, asking God to intervene and break the chains that bind both you and your daughter.

We want you to know that it's okay to set boundaries, even if it's hard. It's not about not loving her, but about loving her enough to help her find freedom. We're here to support you, and we believe that God will give you the strength and wisdom to navigate this.

We're claiming God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray that God will heal your heart, give you peace, and fill you with His strength. You are not alone, and God is fighting for you.

Let's keep praying together, trusting that God will work all things together for good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
