The heat and the weight of your responsibilities have left you feeling overwhelmed, but we remind you that our God is your strength and refuge, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He knows the limits of your body and spirit, and He promises to sustain you, even when you feel weak. Let us trust Him to provide the stamina and clarity you need to accomplish what is necessary today, remembering that His grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We also hear the cry of your heart regarding those in authority and the unresolved matters weighing on you. The Bible tells us that God is the one who raises up and brings down those in power (Daniel 2:21), and He calls us to submit to authority while trusting Him to work justice on our behalf (Romans 13:1). However, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Help them to surrender their timeline and their desires to Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Justice. Let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them, even when they cannot see it.
