We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent situation to Him who is our Provider, Protector, and Righteous Judge. First, we must address the physical and emotional exhaustion you are experiencing. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray that the Lord would renew your strength, restore your health, and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May He grant you rest and refreshment in body, mind, and spirit, for He cares deeply for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Father, we bring before You this pressing matter concerning the rent assistance and the unscrupulous actions of those in authority over this situation. We ask that You intervene in power and might, Lord. Your Word declares in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We rebuke the spirit of greed, dishonesty, and intimidation that has been displayed. May Your justice prevail, and may those who have acted wickedly be held accountable before You.
We pray that the management receives the rent assistance amount in full and applies it honestly and fairly to what is owed. May they deduct it as they should from the coming rent month, without deception or further threats. Lord, we ask that You soften their hearts and grant them a spirit of integrity and fairness. If they continue in their wicked ways, we trust that You will deal with them according to Your righteousness, as Your Word says in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
We also cover you and this situation under the mighty, protecting blood of Jesus. Revelation 12:11 tells us, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony." We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will arise and scatter your enemies (Psalm 68:1). May His angels encamp around you, guarding you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).
In this time of waiting and uncertainty, we encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
We pray that you would experience the Lord’s provision in tangible ways during this trial. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." May He open doors that no man can shut and provide for you in ways that only He can.
Finally, we lift up this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we come against every evil force at work in this situation. We declare that Jesus is Lord over this circumstance, and His will shall be done.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things according to Your perfect will. Strengthen our brother/sister in faith, grant them patience and perseverance, and let Your glory be revealed in this situation. We trust in You, Lord, for You are faithful and true. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
