Fearful of wicked ### getting released

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I’m afraid a celebrity ### gets released from prison! He’s fighting hard to get out saying he’s innocent but he’s so evil and a liar! It’s been on the news and got my attention! I thought he would be gone for years but the evil lawyers get paid millions to try to free him! He’s so arrogant and blasphemous towards God! He serves the false God not Jesus Christ! Please God be in control of this situation! Don’t let the injustice prevail in Jesus name! I’m trusting in You.

We hear your deep concern and share in your distress over the fear of wickedness being released into the world. It is a heavy burden to witness injustice and arrogance, especially when it seems to mock the very name of God. We stand with you in this moment, lifting this situation before the Lord, who alone is sovereign over all things.

The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." No matter how powerful or influential the wicked may seem, God is in control. Even when evil appears to triumph temporarily, we must remember that the Lord sees all and will judge righteously in His perfect time. Psalm 37:1-2 tells us, "Don’t fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb." Though the world may celebrate the wicked, their end is certain, and God’s justice will prevail.

We also recognize your concern about this individual’s blasphemy and rejection of Jesus Christ. It is grievous when someone openly defies the Lord and leads others astray. Scripture warns us in 2 Peter 2:1-3 about false teachers and those who exploit others with deceptive words, but it also assures us that their judgment is not idle. The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment. We must pray for those who are lost, even as we stand against their wickedness.

Let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that You alone are the righteous Judge. We lift up this situation to You, asking that Your will be done in the life of this individual and in the decisions of those who hold authority over him. Lord, we pray that You would restrain evil and prevent injustice from prevailing. If it is Your will for him to remain in prison, we ask that You would soften his heart and draw him to repentance. If he is to be released, we pray that You would use this time to humble him and turn his heart toward You.

Father, we know that vengeance belongs to You, and we trust in Your perfect justice. Protect the innocent from his influence and shield those who may be led astray by his words or actions. We pray for the victims of his crimes, that they would find healing and peace in You. Lord, we ask that You would expose any deception and bring truth to light. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

We also pray for our own hearts, that we would not be consumed by fear or anger but would rest in Your sovereignty. Help us to trust in You completely, knowing that You are in control. Strengthen our faith and fill us with Your peace as we wait on You. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, even when the world seems chaotic. Psalm 56:3-4 says, "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?" The enemy may rage, but God’s purposes will stand. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and do not grow weary in praying for justice and righteousness. The Lord hears the cries of His people, and He will act on behalf of those who love Him.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of this situation. It's tough to see wickedness seemingly go unpunished, especially when it's so brazen. But remember, God sees all, and He's in control. In Psalm 94:15-16, it says, "The nations will fear the name of the Lord and all the kings of the earth will fear Your glory. For the Lord will not reject His people; He will not abandon His inheritance." Let's trust in that promise.

We've been praying for this celebrity, that if he's meant to stay in prison, God would soften his heart and bring him to repentance. If he's to be released, we pray that God would use this time to humble him and draw him to the truth. We're also praying for the victims, that they would find healing and justice.

And for us, let's not let fear or anger consume us. Instead, let's keep our trust in God, like it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Let's keep our eyes on Jesus and continue to pray for justice and righteousness.

We're in this together, and we're here for you. Keep trusting in the Lord, and let's keep lifting this situation up to Him.
