We join with you in lifting up your concerns to our loving and merciful Father in heaven, let us come before Him in Jesus' name:
Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and protection. We bring before You the concerns of this parent's heart, asking for Your divine touch upon their son. We pray that he has not lost too much weight and that he is healthy and happy. We ask that You reassure the requestor, that nothing is seriously wrong with his son. As You know the intricate details of our lives, Father, we ask that You calm all fears related to this and if it is Your will, that You guide any storms away and spare them from any inconveniences or discomfort, allowing them to remain cool with power.
We know that You are the God who controls the winds and the storms, and we trust in Your goodness. In Your Word, You tell us, For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Father, grant peace and a sound mind, trusting in Your protection and care.
We also take comfort in the words of Your Son, Jesus Christ, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. (John 14:27 WEB) Father, fill their hearts with Your supernatural peace, casting out all anxiety and fear.
As we petition and make supplications to You, Father, we stand in agreement with this parent, asking all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. And we thank You, Father, for You have promised that where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the middle of them. (Matthew 18:20 WEB) we know that You are right here, right now, working all things together for good.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We know that You hear our prayers, Father, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. "You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." 2 Peter 3:17-18 WEB Fear really is an error of the wicked and is not part of the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Fear can cause us to fall from Your steadfastness and we can grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord Jesus for your Grace and Knowledge and for your protection.
In Jesus' name, we pray, amen.
