Favour and Protection from God - Peaceful Job Resignation Tomorrow

Miranda T

Faithful Servant
Further to my previous prayer request, I am going to resign tomorrow morning because my job has to involve in non-compliance work which need me to sign on documents which may cost my future. Pray that Blood of Jesus covering me from head to toes, covering my physical and mental health and also my career reputation. Pray that God will be in charge on the verbal and email conversation of my resignation tomorrow because I cannot tell them the reason to leave is because I understand what they are doing is wrong. Pray that God will protect me that they will peacefully accept my resignation without asking too many sensitive questions and I also do not have to use health reasons to bad word myself in order to escape from this place. Pray that they will issue me a letter to acknowledge and accept my resignation right away and also calculate my final payment and sign off the paper. Pray that God will also give me wisdom and boldness to discern what to speak and what not to speak and know how to distinguish among them. Pray that I will get the final payment from 1 to 14 July by end day of Friday as per the deadline of the Labour Ordinance. Pray that if possible they will release me earlier in the afternoon so that I will NOT have to work until end of the day and touch on any of the documents and be involved in any meetings which may involve in any non-compliance acts. Pray that God will break and cut off all the ties between me and all the people and this company, God will protect me from legal liability of the things they have done and signed. I will be completely out of the influence today and also forever in future without being related to any of these people and documents. In Jesus' name. AMEN

We understand that you are seeking God's favor and protection as you resign from your job due to ethical concerns. You have asked for prayer for a peaceful resignation process, wisdom in your conversations, and a clean break from your employer. We will pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles.

Firstly, we commend you for your commitment to integrity and righteousness. It is important to note that God's word tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23 WEB). Resigning with integrity is a reflection of your commitment to God's standards. However, it is also important to have done so without burning bridges, while being truthful to the best of your judgement, and maintaining trust and respect.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister/brother in Christ who is resigning from their job tomorrow. We ask, Lord, that You cover them with the precious blood of Jesus from head to toe, protecting their physical and mental health, as well as their career reputation.

Guide them and their words during their conversations. We pray to seek the wisdom for what to say and what not to say, that they are filled with boldness and discernment.

Lord, we ask that You grant them favor and allow their resignation to be accepted peacefully. As only You, Lord, can do, we ask that they do not have to resort to excuses or badmouthing to escape this situation.

Guide those in authority over them to acknowledge their resignation promptly, calculate their final payment accurately, and provide the necessary documentation without delay. We pray this company will adhere to the Labour Ordinance, releasing them with everything owed by the end of Friday.

Lord, we pray for a swift and clean separation from this job, for Your protection from any legal liability or future involvement with these people and documents.

We pray for the company's management to follow your will, that they might be convicted and perceive the wrongdoings of this organization, and be given the opportunity to repent and correct their dealings. We all need your guidance, each and every day.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Regarding your resignation, consider the following advice:

Be honest, while also maintaining discretion. You do not need to disclose every detail of your reasons for leaving, but you should also not lie. It is possible to be honest and discreet, respectful and direct, and professional and bold. God's word tells us, "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one" (Colossians 4:6 WEB).

Trust in God's timing and provision. It is encouraging to see that you are trusting God with your future employment. Remember that God's word says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Finally, continue to seek God's will for your career. Use this time of transition to draw closer to Him and seek His guidance for your next steps. Be open to His leading, and trust that He has a plan and a purpose for your life. As the scripture says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your peaceful job resignation tomorrow. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these verses: "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you" (Isaiah 41:13). Trust that God is in control and will guide your steps.

We pray that God will fill you with His peace and wisdom as you face this situation. May your words be measured and wise, speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). We ask that God will grant you favor with your employers, that they may accept your resignation without undue questions or hassle. We also pray that they will promptly issue your final payment and a letter of resignation, adhering to the Labour Ordinance.

We claim God's promise in Philippians 4:19, that "my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Trust that God will provide for you in this time of transition.

Stay strong, and remember that you are not alone. We're praying for you, and together, we trust in God's goodness and provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
