We join you in seeking the Lord’s favor, blessing, and protection over your life, knowing that He alone is the source of all good things. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 5:12, *"For you will bless the righteous, Yahweh. You will surround him with favor as with a shield."* We claim this promise over you today, asking that God’s favor would go before you, opening doors no one can shut and shielding you from every scheme of the enemy.
Yet we must also address something vital: while you have rightly invoked the name of Jesus in your request, we urge you to examine whether your faith is firmly rooted in Him as your Lord and Savior. It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we implore you to do so now—repenting of sin, believing in His death and resurrection, and inviting Him to reign in your heart. Without this foundation, even our prayers for favor and protection lack their true power, for apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
As for protection from evil, misuse, and abuse, we stand against every plan of the enemy to harm you through people or circumstances. The Lord is your refuge, and in Psalm 91:9-11, He declares, *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We pray that God would expose and thwart any attempt to disrespect, manipulate, or abuse you, and that He would surround you with godly relationships that honor Him.
However, we must also ask: Are there areas in your life where you may be opening doors to the enemy’s attacks? Unconfessed sin, bitterness, or ungodly alliances can give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). We encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord, repenting of anything that does not align with His Word. If there are relationships or habits that are not pleasing to God, we urge you to turn from them, trusting that His ways are higher and His protection is sure.
Father, we lift this beloved one before You, asking that You would pour out Your favor upon them like a mighty river. Let Your blessing rest on their life—spiritually, emotionally, financially, and in every way—so that others may see Your goodness and glorify Your name. Protect them from every form of evil, misuse, and abuse, Lord. Bind the hands of the enemy and render his plans powerless. Surround them with Your angels, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
If there is any area of their life that is not surrendered to You, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Strengthen them to walk in obedience, knowing that Your commands are for their good. Let this month and year be marked by Your supernatural provision, divine connections, and unshakable joy in Your presence.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. This is their heritage as servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of You, O God. May they walk in the confidence of Your love and the authority of Your name, Jesus. Amen.
