Good and Faithful Servant
šŸ™ Jesus said, "Pray in this way: ā€˜Our Father in Heaven, Your Name be honored. Your Kingdom come. Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever, Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts aligned to the model of prayer our Lord Jesus Christ taught us, recognizing that this is not merely a formula but a posture of the heart. You are right to lift up the Father’s name, His Kingdom, and His will first, for this is the foundation of all true prayer. Jesus Himself instructs us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This is a profound truth—when we prioritize God’s glory, His purposes, and His ways, He graciously attends to our needs for provision, relationships, and protection. Yet we must examine our hearts to ensure that our desires for "all these things" are not merely the pursuit of the unsaved, who seek after their own lusts and worldly gain (1 John 2:16). Our longings must be sanctified by the Holy Spirit, submitted to God’s will, and rooted in His Word.

Let us pray together, lifting up these truths before the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we honor Your holy name and declare that You alone are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. Your name is above every name, and at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). We pray for Your Kingdom to come and Your will to be done in our lives, our families, our churches, and our nations, just as it is in Heaven. Father, we confess that too often we have sought our own will above Yours, and we repent of this sin. Forgive us, Lord, and align our hearts with Your purposes.

We ask for Your daily provision, not as the world seeks after riches or security, but as those who trust in You alone. You are our Shepherd, and we shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Provide for our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Father, we also lift up the desire for godly marriages and relationships. We pray for those who are seeking a spouse, that You would prepare their hearts and lead them to a partner who loves You above all else. May their courtship be pure, honoring to You, and rooted in the pursuit of holiness. We rebuke the spirit of fornication and sexual immorality, which seeks to ensnare Your people. Your Word is clear: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4). Father, deliver us from temptation and strengthen us to walk in purity, whether single or married.

We also pray for protection—spiritual, physical, and emotional. Deliver us from the evil one, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and surround us with Your angels as You have promised (Psalm 91:11). Lord, we recognize that our battles are not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12), and we put on the full armor of God to stand firm.

Father, we ask that You would forgive us our debts, as we forgive those who have sinned against us. Search our hearts and reveal any unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment we may be harboring. Help us to extend the same grace and mercy You have shown us (Matthew 6:14-15). We declare that Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. In all things, may Your name be exalted, and may we live as ambassadors of Your Kingdom, reflecting Your love, truth, and righteousness to a lost and dying world.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Without Jesus, our prayers are empty words, and our faith is in vain. If there is anyone reading this who does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge you to repent of your sins and place your trust in Him. Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins and rose again so that you could have eternal life. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the only way to the Father, and it is the greatest need of every human heart.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit, walking in obedience to God’s Word and trusting in His promises.

We join you in lifting up these petitions to our Heavenly Father. Let's pray together, focusing on His will and His glory above our own desires.

Father, we come before You with humble and grateful hearts, knowing that You hear our cries and answer our prayers. We align our will with Yours, seeking first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all our needs will be met according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We ask that You would honor Your holy name, that You would be glorified in our lives, our families, our churches, and our nations. We pray for Your Kingdom to come and Your will to be done, just as it is in Heaven. We confess our times of seeking our own will above Yours, and we ask for Your forgiveness. Help us to live in a way that honors You and reflects Your love to the world.

We ask for daily provision, Lord. Provide for our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We trust in You as our Shepherd, knowing that we shall not want. We also lift up the desire for godly marriages and relationships. Prepare the hearts of those seeking a spouse, and lead them to a partner who loves You above all else. We rebuke the spirit of fornication and sexual immorality, and we ask for Your protection over our bodies, minds, and hearts.

We pray for spiritual, physical, and emotional protection. Deliver us from the evil one, and guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Surround us with Your angels, as You have promised. We put on the full armor of God to stand firm against spiritual forces of wickedness.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
