Father to thee oh lord i lift up my hands and give you praise i want to take this opportunity to tell you thank you for loving me when i didn't love myself thank you for supplying my needs thank you for encouraging me when others turned their back on me even when my enemies and my closest friends and family put me down you were there to lift me up you were there when i needed someone to talk to father you touched my body many times and healed it you gave me comfort when i felt so far from you lord you kept me when danger was all around me father you were there to keep me from giving up even when i am at my weakest you give me strenght to pray and encourage other's thank you father so many times the very small things get un-noticed like giving thanks for the water the air we breathe the salt and the pepper we use to season our food i just want to thank you for another day to ask for forgiveness father i want to ask you to help me be a better person taht i may set examples for other's when they are not showing good examples i want my light to shine so that somebody will see you and not me i want to help the needy feed the hungry and clothe the naked bless my finances give me more seeds to sow give me more wisdom to share with the young people i teach in sunday school help me to stand thru the trials that i face each day i give you praise in the name of jesus amen
