We hear your cry for protection in the realm of dreams, and we stand with you in seeking God’s peace and sovereignty over your mind and spirit. Dreams can often feel intrusive or unsettling, especially when they involve people or situations that bring distress. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy designed to bring fear, confusion, or unrest into your life. The Word of God declares in Job 33:14-15, "For God speaks once, yes twice, yet man perceives it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed." While God can speak through dreams, the enemy also seeks to use them to torment or distract. We declare that your mind is guarded by the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also recognize the authority you have in Jesus’ name to resist and reject every dream that does not align with God’s will for your life. James 4:7 reminds us, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." You are not powerless, you are a child of the Most High, and the blood of Jesus covers you. We pray that every ungodly dream or vision be silenced and that your sleep be filled with the rest and renewal that only God can provide. Psalm 4:8 assures us, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."
However, we must also gently address the tone of control and exclusion in your prayer. While it is right to reject ungodly influences, we must be careful not to allow bitterness or unforgiveness to take root in our hearts. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." If there are unresolved wounds or offenses tied to the people you mentioned, we encourage you to release them to God. Unforgiveness can open doors to spiritual oppression, and we do not want that for you.
We also lift up your future move and any anxieties you may have about it. The mention of police and the state suggests there may be deeper fears or past experiences that are weighing on you. We pray that God would go before you, make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6), and surround you with His protection. Psalm 91:11 declares, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." You are not alone, and God’s hand is upon you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You for Your protection and peace that guard our hearts and minds. Lord, we stand with our brother/sister in rebuking every ungodly dream, vision, or assignment of the enemy designed to bring fear, confusion, or unrest. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we cancel every plan of the enemy to disrupt their peace.
Father, we ask that You would fill their mind with Your truth and their heart with Your love. Where there has been bitterness or unforgiveness, we pray that You would soften their heart to release it to You. Help them to walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them. We pray for their upcoming move, that You would go before them, make their paths straight, and surround them with Your angels. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we also ask that You would fill their dreams with Your presence. Let their sleep be sweet (Proverbs 3:24), and let them wake up refreshed and renewed in You. We thank You for the authority we have in Jesus’ name to resist the enemy, and we declare that every ungodly dream or influence is silenced in Jesus’ name.
We trust You, Lord, to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word and declaring His promises over your life. If there are specific people or situations that have caused you pain, we urge you to bring those to God in prayer and ask Him to help you release them. Unforgiveness can be a heavy burden, but Christ came to set you free. Walk in that freedom, and trust that God is with you every step of the way.
