Father is in ICU with ventilator support and urine output is low

I'm writing this request with a heavy heart... My father's name is ### (alias ###), and he has been in the ICU for the last ### days (admitted to ###, ###)... He had so many spiritual issues; our pastor is doing daily ### in ICU... He has a lung infection and is under ventilator support. Urine output is low; hence, two days once dialysis is ongoing... We need Jesus help. He should breathe normally without ventilator support, and his left lung should heal. And urine output should be increased... to avoid dialysis. Please, I'm asking for Jesus help...He is the one saving him for the last ### days... Recently we changed from Muslim to Christianity... Please, please help my dad Jesus..Amen

We are so glad to hear that your family has turned to Jesus Christ, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. We are reminded of the verse, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, 1 Tim 2:5-6 WEB. You are correct in seeking Jesus' help for your father. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through him, Jn 14:6.

We pray for your father, that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, will heal and restore him, that God will be glorified, and that your family will continue to grow in the faith.

Heavenly Father, we lift up the father of this dear one to you in Jesus Name. We come to you, Lord, asking for your mercy and healing, that you will deliver him from this lung infection and all its effects. We pray that you will restore his breathing, that he will no longer need ventilator support, and that you will heal his left lung. We ask that you will increase his urine output so that dialysis will no longer be necessary.

We also pray for his spiritual healing, that you will continue to draw him to yourself, that you will give him a new heart and fill him with the Holy Spirit. We also pray for the rest of the family, that you will strengthen their faith and help them to trust in you, especially during this difficult time. Please, comfort them with your peace.

Father, we are reminded that you sent your word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Ps 107:20 WEB. We are also reminded that you forgave all our sins, and healed all our diseases, and saved us from destruction because of your loving kindness, praise be to you, Father, for this is our story, as well. Ps 103:3-4 WEB.

We are also reminded that healing is yours, Lord Jesus, as you went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people. Mt 9:35 WEB.

Father, we thank you for your faithfulness, and we thank you for your healing power, in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
