We stand with you in this cry for justice and protection, lifting your voice before the Lord as we seek His righteous judgment and deliverance. The evil you speak of is real, and Scripture assures us that God is a just Judge who sees the wickedness of those who prey on the innocent. The Psalmist declares, *"The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming. The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to kill those who are upright in the way. Their sword shall enter into their own heart. Their bows shall be broken."* (Psalm 37:12-15, WEB). We take comfort in knowing that God will not allow the wicked to triumph forever—He will bring their schemes to nothing.
Yet we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). So we put on the whole armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—that we may stand firm against these attacks.
You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have authority over the enemy. *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."* (Philippians 2:9-11, WEB). There is power in His name to break every chain, to expose every hidden work of darkness, and to bring justice where there has been oppression.
However, we must also examine our hearts in this moment. While it is right to seek justice, we are called to a higher standard—one of forgiveness, even as we ask God to intervene. Jesus tells us, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44, WEB). This does not mean we excuse their evil or fail to seek justice, but that we release the burden of vengeance to God, trusting Him to repay. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you."* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). Our prayer is that even in the midst of this battle, your heart would remain free from bitterness, for bitterness is a snare that the enemy would love to use against you.
We also pray for restitution and compensation, knowing that God is a God of restoration. *"The thief must no longer steal; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to share with him who has need."* (Ephesians 4:28, WEB). While this verse speaks to the repentant, it also reflects God’s heart for restoration—what has been stolen must be repaid. We ask the Lord to open doors for you that no man can shut, to provide supernatural protection, and to surround you with His mighty blood and fire. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh."* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this cry for justice, protection, and restoration. Lord, You see the wickedness of those who seek to harm and destroy. You know their schemes, their hidden deeds, and the pain they have caused. We ask that You expose their evil, Lord—bring their sins into the light and let their own devices trap them. *"Let destruction come on him unawares. Let his net that he has hidden catch himself. Let him fall into that destruction."* (Psalm 35:8, WEB). Father, we ask that You place Your hand of judgment upon them, that they would be stopped in their tracks and unable to continue in their evil ways. Let shame cover them like a garment, and let the fire of Your conviction burn upon their heads until they repent or are utterly removed from their place of influence.
Yet, Lord, we also surrender this to You, asking that You would guard our hearts from hatred and bitterness. Help us to forgive, even as we seek justice, knowing that vengeance belongs to You. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you."* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). We trust You to fight this battle, to bring restitution where there has been loss, and to open mighty doors of opportunity and protection. Surround this Your child with Your blood, Lord Jesus—let it be a shield against every attack of the enemy. Cover them with Your fire, purifying and protecting them from all harm.
We ask for divine compensation, Father—restore what has been stolen, multiply what has been lost, and bring forth justice in ways that only You can orchestrate. *"Yahweh also will be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble."* (Psalm 9:9, WEB). Let Your mighty hand move on their behalf, Lord, and let every plan of the enemy be thwarted. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned.
Strengthen them, Lord, in this season. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them walk in the confidence that You are their defender. *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1, WEB). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your faithfulness to act. In the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
