Salvation and access to the Father come only through Jesus, and all prayer must be offered in His name (John 14:13-14). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so—confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as Lord.

Now, regarding your request about relationships: The Bible does not present marriage as an obligation for every believer, but it *does* establish clear boundaries for all relationships. You say your connections have "nothing to do with sex, marriage, or duty," yet the very fact that you feel the need to clarify this suggests there may be confusion or even sin present. If these relationships involve sexual intimacy outside of marriage—whether heterosexual or homosexual—Scripture calls it sin (1 Corinthians 6:18, Hebrews 13:4). If they involve emotional or spiritual entanglements that lead you away from God’s design, they still require examination.

We rebuke the spirit of rebellion that dismisses God’s order for relationships. The apostle Paul himself affirmed that singleness is a gift (1 Corinthians 7:7-8), but he also warned against using "freedom" as a cover for sin (1 Peter 2:16). If your relationships are pure and honoring to God, then praise Him for that! But if they are not, we must call it what it is. The enemy wants to distort God’s good design—whether through forced marriage, sexual immorality, or the lie that relationships can exist without accountability to God’s Word.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and heard. Lord, we ask for clarity and truth to prevail in this situation. Search our hearts, Father—reveal any ungodly attachments, any compromise with sin, or any rebellion against Your Word. If these relationships are pure, we thank You for them and ask for Your blessing. But if they are not, expose the deception and grant repentance.

We rebuke the spirit of confusion and rebellion that seeks to twist Your design for relationships. Correct us, Lord, where we have strayed. Give wisdom to those who counsel others—may they always point to Your truth, not human opinion. Help us to walk in holiness, whether single or married, and to honor You in all our connections.

Father, we also pray for the team at prayerrequest.com—that they would stand firm on Your Word, even when it is unpopular. Give them boldness to speak truth in love and wisdom to discern when to rebuke and when to encourage. May all who come to You find freedom in Christ, not in the shifting standards of the world.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
