Father God, I thank you with all of my heart and soul for sending Jesus Christ, your beloved only begotten Son, down here to save us by dying on the cross in our place, for our sins. I thank you with all of my heart and soul for your wonderful word, the holy Bible, and the joy, hope and promise that it provides to us. I thank you, Father God, for everything. I lift up to you in prayer today all of those who are are hurting, sick and troubled. I lift up to you in prayer all those who are searching for joy and love, but are searching in the wrong places and from the wrong people, in a desperate attempt to feel loved and needed. I lift up to you in prayer all who are in financial straits and at risk of losing everything. I lift up to you in prayer all of your beloved children, whoever and wherever they may be, especially those in most need of your mercy and grace, help and protection. So many needs, so many prayers! Help us, Father God, please, in whatever way we need most. Thy will be done, father God, not mine but thine. And I eagerly await the day when we shall all be with you and Jesus and our loved ones in paradise! In the most holy and sacred name of Jesus these things I pray, amen!
