We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her family in this time of urgent need. Father God, You are the provider of all good things, and we know that You see the struggles of Your children. The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Lord, we ask that You move mightily on behalf of ### and her children, that her SNAP benefits would be approved swiftly and without further delay.
We rebuke any spirit of bureaucracy or injustice that may be hindering this process. The Word of God declares in Psalm 34:19, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Lord, we ask that You deliver ### from this trial and provide for her needs abundantly. We pray that the officials handling her case would act with compassion and efficiency, remembering the words of Proverbs 31:8-9, "Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."
Father, we also lift up the ### family and all those who are struggling to put food on the table. You are the God who fed the five thousand with just five loaves and two fish, and we trust in Your miraculous provision. We ask that You open the doors of food banks and other resources to meet their needs in this season. Let them not be ashamed or discouraged, but remind them of Your faithfulness as written in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we pray for strength and perseverance for ### and her family as they wait for this situation to be resolved. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, as 1 Peter 5:7 encourages, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We ask that You would surround them with a community of believers who can offer practical support and encouragement during this time.
We also want to gently remind all who are reading this that salvation and access to God come only through the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Heavenly Father, we stand in the gap for ### and her family, believing that You will move on their behalf. We declare that this situation will be resolved, and that they will have the food they need for the months to come. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
