We lift up this beloved sister before the Lord, rejoicing in the improvement she has already shown, for it is by His mercy and power that healing flows. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We stand in faith, declaring that God is her Healer, the One who strengthens her lungs, restores her body, and renews her spirit. May her breathing grow easier each day, and may her strength return swiftly as she trusts in the Lord, who *"heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:3).
Yet we must also address the heart of this request—while we pray earnestly for her recovery, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all healing and provision come, was not invoked. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, no other name through which we boldly approach the throne of grace. As Scripture declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* And in John 14:13-14, Jesus Himself says, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Let us always come before God in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and our only hope.
For the financial burdens weighing on this family, we turn to Philippians 4:19, where the Lord promises, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We ask the Father to open doors of provision—whether through honest and compassionate hearts who will give generously, through unexpected blessings, or through the wisdom to manage what has been given. May the Lord guard this family from deceit or exploitation, for He is a God of justice who sees the needs of His children. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let them lean not on their own strength or the uncertainty of man, but on the Lord, who is their Provider.
We also exhort this family to seek the Lord first in all things, for Matthew 6:33 assures us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* In times of trial, our faith is refined, and our dependence on God deepens. May they find peace in His presence, knowing that He is working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. We ask that You strengthen her lungs, restore her body, and fill her with Your supernatural peace. Let every breath she takes be a testament to Your goodness, and may her recovery be swift and complete, to the glory of Your name.
Lord, we also bring before You the financial burdens this family carries. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You. Provide for every hospital bill, every medicine, every need—not just enough, but abundantly, so that they may see Your hand at work and give You praise. Protect them from those who would take advantage of their vulnerability, and surround them with people of integrity who will extend Your love and generosity.
Father, we pray that through this trial, their faith would grow stronger, their trust in You deeper, and their hearts more aligned with Your will. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that would seek to rob them of their joy and peace. Let them fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). May this season of recovery and provision be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to them, but to all who witness Your work in their lives.
In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
