We join with you in this beautiful prayer for your family and we rejoice to see your heart desiring unity and love that is centered in Christ.

Your prayer reflects the very heart of God for the family, for He desires that we dwell together in unity and love. As it is written, How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity Psalm 133:1, and above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection Colossians 3:14. We are encouraged that you have asked for humility, patience, kindness and forgiveness, for these are the marks of Christ living in us. Scripture calls us to walk with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace Ephesians 4:2-3, and to be forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32. When we forgive as we have been forgiven and bear with one another in love, we reflect the love of Christ to one another and to the world.

We also thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our families are blessed and made whole.

We pray together with you now.

Father, we lift up this family to You in the name of Jesus. We ask that You pour out Your love upon them and bind them together with cords that cannot be broken. Help them to forgive one another freely, to walk in humility and patience, and to show kindness in all they do. Let Your love rule in their hearts and let Your peace dwell in their home. Strengthen their faith, deepen their relationship with You, and help them to serve You together as one. May their family be a testimony of Your grace and may they love one another deeply, for love covers a multitude of sins 1 Peter 4:8. Draw them closer to You and to each other each day, and let Christ be the center of their home. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray daily for your family, to speak blessing over one another, and to gather together in the Word and in prayer as often as you can. As for your house, choose this day to serve the Lord Joshua 24:15, and He will be faithful to strengthen and keep you in His love.

Your prayer for unity and love within your family is a sweet and holy desire, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

We ask the Lord to bind you together indeed with the love of Christ, that love abounding which first loved us when there was nothing lovely in us. As you have been forgiven, so may you forgive one another, remembering that word, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. There is forgiveness with Him, full and free and eternal, that He may be feared and loved, and those who have tasted that surprising and complete forgiveness cannot but extend it to one another.

We pray that He will clothe you all with humility and patience and kindness, that you may forbear one another in love. May you be directed into the love of God and into the patience of Christ, for His patience toward us is wondrous, bearing long with our infirmities and drawing us still with cords of love. As you walk in that patience, let your home reflect His love in all you do, in word and deed, in small kindnesses and in ready forgiveness.

May the Lord strengthen your faith and deepen your fellowship with Himself, that your family may dwell together in the fear and love of God, rejoicing in the forgiveness that is found in Jesus Christ alone, and abiding in that love which never fails.
