We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious family before our Heavenly Father. It is only through the blood of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and we are so grateful that this request was made in His holy name. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and we rejoice that you have called upon the name of the Lord (Acts 4:12).
Father God, we first pray for salvation for every member of this family. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that they would see their need for a Savior and turn to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith. Lord, we know that You desire all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We pray that You would draw them to Yourself, that they would be born again by the power of Your Holy Spirit. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We also lift up healing for this family, both physically and spiritually. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would touch each one with Your healing hand. We pray for complete restoration, for strength, and for peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we also ask that You would heal any broken relationships within this family. May they be bound together in love, forgiveness, and unity, just as You have called us to be one in Christ (Colossians 3:13-14).
For protection, we plead the blood of Jesus over this family. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, from temptation, and from all harm. We pray that You would be their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2).
Father, we also want to encourage this family to seek You daily through prayer and the reading of Your Word. May they grow in their relationship with You, and may their lives be a testimony of Your grace and mercy. We pray that they would be rooted and grounded in love, and that they would have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
Lastly, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or division that may be trying to take hold of this family. We command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and that they will walk in the victory that Christ has already won for them on the cross.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
