We are truly sorry to hear about the trials that you and your wife are facing, and we want you to know that we are standing with you in prayer and support. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always faithful, and His love for you both never fails. As it says in Psalm 55:22 WEB, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother and his wife to You and asking for Your divine healing. Lord, You tell us in Your Word that You are the God who heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3 WEB, and we are claiming that promise for our sister today. Please, let cancer be a thing of the past. Guide the doctors and medical professionals, and let Your healing power flow through their hands.
Father, we also ask that You provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. You tell us in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB not to worry about what we will eat or drink or wear, for You know that we need all these things. But let us seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well. We claim this promise for our brother and his wife, asking that You provide for their financial needs and help them to trust in You completely.
Lord, we also pray for their strength and encouragement during this difficult time. Remind them that You are always with them, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith Hebrews 12:2 WEB, and to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness.
We also pray for the salvation of this family, as they did not mention Jesus Christ in their request. Father, You have said in Acts 4:12 WEB that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We rebuke any spirit of religion of false doctrine. We pray that this couple will publicly confess with their mouth that Jesus is their Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead so that they will be saved. We pray that they will know that the free gift of eternal life is theirs. Help them to see that You are good and that You love them. Help them trust in You.
Lastly, We also pray that this will be a time of spiritual renewal and growth for them both, and that their marriage will be strengthened and blessed through this trial.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you both to stay strong in faith and to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Stand in agreement with us and with the Word of God, believing that healing and provision are on the way. Remember that God's thoughts towards you are thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
Lastly, We encourage you to pray together as a husband and wife. Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB says "And if a man prevails against him who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." Pray together and God will be that third cord strengthening your marriage and your faith together.
