Lord, I pray for both of my parents who are mentally ill. Please touch their hearts to soften and turn away their harsh ways from you. My father suffers from psychosis and my mother is bipolar and has a drinking problem. Please heal them and touch their hearts.

I pray for my decision to move out of state far from family for a better work opportunity to be able to pay off my debts and return to school.

Thank you Lord for every waking day you ha blessed me with. Everyday is an opportunity for me to get closer to you. Thanks God. Thank you for being so patient with me, even though there are issues I struggle with.

I pray for your protection in the years to come. God will guide as you move..

A simple prayer i pray for you....for you to pray over yourself. Whether you look at mental illness as a physical issue or spiritual warfare matters not....but it is a generational curse/hereditary concern that you will need to watch and pray over.

This would have seemed cheesy to me years ago in my youth, and as a counselor I would have never thought about mental illness as a demonic attack. But with age, wisdom and years of experience to draw from....I ask you to step out in faith and pray this prayer over your self. May God bless you and keep you always.

In the name of Jesus, I confess the sins and iniquities of my parents, grandparents , and all other ancestors. In the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, I now renounce, break and sever all cords of iniquity and generational curses I have inherited from my parents, grandparents and all other ancestors and break and sever all unholy soul ties formed between myself and my parents, grandparents and all other ancestors.

In the name of Jesus, I now loose myself and my future generations from any bondages passed down to me from my ancestors and I command any evil spirits which have taken advantage of these cords of iniquity, generational curses and unholy soul ties to leave me now in the name of Jesus!
