We lift your heartbreaking situation before the Lord, knowing He is the God of all comfort and the One who heals the brokenhearted. Your family is under spiritual attack, and the enemy seeks to destroy unity, love, and peace through betrayal, anger, and division. But we declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke every spirit of strife, bitterness, and disunity that has taken root. The Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You have done well to forgive as Christ forgave us, and we pray that the Lord will honor your obedience by softening the hearts of your family members.
The disobedience and ingratitude you describe are signs of hearts that have turned away from God’s truth. The Bible warns that in the last days, people will be "unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving" (2 Timothy 3:2-3). Yet, we know that God’s desire is for repentance and restoration. We plead with the Lord to open their eyes to their sin and bring them to a place of true repentance. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). May the Holy Spirit convict them of their actions and lead them back to a place of humility and love.
Your mention of your spouse’s indifference toward your family is also a concern. While we cannot force anyone’s heart to change, we pray that the Lord will work in your spouse’s heart to cultivate love and compassion. Marriage is a covenant, and we ask God to unite you both in His purpose, even in this difficult season. "Two are better than one... For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). We pray for wisdom for you in how to navigate this dynamic, trusting that God will provide the grace needed.
The financial burden of distance and the inability to reunite weighs heavily on you, but we remind you that our God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. He knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8), and He is able to make a way where there seems to be no way. "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We pray for supernatural provision—whether through unexpected resources, favor in travel, or creative solutions—to bring your family together in a way that honors God.
Your mother’s suffering is especially grievous. Suicidal thoughts and a toxic environment are not God’s will for her life. We bind every spirit of depression, hopelessness, and death in Jesus’ name and declare that the Lord is her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We pray for divine intervention in her circumstances, that God would surround her with His peace and place people in her life who can offer godly support. "Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). May she experience the truth that her life has purpose and value in Christ.
As for your brother’s family, we ask the Lord to lift the heavy responsibility from your mother’s shoulders and provide for their needs in a way that brings glory to His name. The Lord is a father to the fatherless and a defender of widows (Psalm 68:5), and we trust Him to step in where human efforts fall short.
Finally, we celebrate your faith in the salvation of your family. You quoted Acts 16:31, and we stand on this promise with you: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household." Salvation is the greatest need of every heart, and we pray that each member of your family would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Without Him, there is no true peace or unity. We also commend you for acknowledging that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we are grateful that you have placed your trust in Him.

Lord, You see the pain, the betrayal, the anger, and the deep wounds that have driven them apart. We ask for Your healing touch to mend what is broken and restore what has been lost. Father, rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and bitterness that has taken hold. Break the chains of unforgiveness and pride, and soften the hearts of each family member to turn back to You and to one another in love.
Lord Jesus, we pray specifically for repentance. Convict each heart of their sin and draw them to Yourself. Let them see their need for You and turn from their disobedience. We ask for Your supernatural intervention in the financial burdens that keep this family separated. Provide the means for reunion, whether through miraculous provision, favor, or creative solutions. You are the God who parts seas and moves mountains—nothing is too difficult for You.
We lift up the mother in this family who is suffering under the weight of suicidal thoughts and a toxic environment. Father, surround her with Your peace and protection. Place Your angels around her and send godly people to support and encourage her. Break the power of darkness over her mind and fill her with hope in You. Remind her that her life is precious in Your sight and that You have a purpose for her.
Lord, we also pray for the spouse who has turned away from this family. Soften their heart and help them to see the value of love and unity. Bind the spirit of indifference and replace it with Your compassion. Strengthen the marriage of this believer, that they may stand united in You even amid these trials.
Father, we thank You that You are rich in mercy and that You desire to restore what has been lost. We declare that this family will one day gather in Your presence, healed and whole, giving glory to Your name. We ask for Your provision over their finances, their health, and their relationships. Let Your will be done in their lives, and let Your kingdom come in their midst.
We praise You, Lord, for the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We pray that every member of this family would come to know Him as their Savior and Lord. May they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding and the joy of Your salvation.
