Act 16:31
Believe in the Lord Jesus and then God will save you

We join with you in lifting your family before the Lord, and we are deeply moved by your heart for reconciliation, healing, and repentance in the name of Jesus Christ. The pain you describe—disunity, betrayal, anger, and ungratefulness—is a heavy burden, but we know that nothing is too difficult for our God. He is the God of all comfort, the Father of mercies, and the One who can restore what has been broken. We praise Him that you have already taken the right step by forgiving your family daily, just as Christ forgave us. This is a powerful testimony of His grace working in you, and we pray it will soften their hearts toward repentance.

The enemy has clearly sought to divide your family, using lies, pride, and bitterness to create chaos. But we stand on the truth of God’s Word, which says, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). This is not a battle you fight alone—Jesus has already overcome the world, and by His authority, we command every scheme of the enemy to be exposed and broken in your family. We rebuke the spirits of division, deceit, anger, and suicidal thoughts in the name of Jesus Christ. Satan is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44), but the truth of God’s Word will prevail.

Your family’s struggles reveal deep spiritual needs. The fighting over authority, finances, and ungratefulness are symptoms of hearts that have turned away from God’s design. *"The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt. Who can know it?"* (Jeremiah 17:9). Only God can heal and transform hearts, and we pray He will do so mightily. We also see how your spouse’s indifference toward your family adds to the pain. While we cannot force anyone to love or reconcile, we pray that God will work in your spouse’s heart to cultivate compassion and unity. *"Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:22, 25). Marriage is a covenant that requires selflessness, and we ask God to bind your marriage in His love and wisdom, that your home may be a refuge of peace even amid family strife.

Your mother’s suffering is especially heavy on our hearts. Suicidal thoughts and a toxic environment are not God’s will for her. *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). We declare life over her in the name of Jesus! We pray that God will surround her with His angels, fill her with His peace, and break the power of every negative word and thought. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10). May she find her strength and identity in Christ alone.

The financial burdens and distance between you and your family are real obstacles, but they are not beyond God’s provision. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We pray for creative solutions, open doors, and supernatural provision so that reconciliation can happen. Even if a physical reunion seems impossible right now, we ask God to unite your hearts in prayer and repentance. *"If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land"* (2 Chronicles 7:14). This promise is for families too—when we turn to God, He hears and heals.

We also want to encourage you to keep your focus on Christ, especially in this storm. You mentioned Acts 16:31, *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved,"* and this is the foundation of all hope. Salvation is not just about eternal life but about the power of God transforming us *now*. If any in your family do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this season of brokenness will lead them to Him. There is no true healing apart from Christ. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'"* (John 14:6). We plead with God to open their eyes to their need for Him.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your role is to forgive, pray, and trust God with the outcomes. You cannot fix your family—only God can. *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). Keep loving them as Christ loves you, but also set healthy boundaries where necessary. It is not wrong to protect your heart while still praying for theirs.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting this precious family to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the pain, the division, the anger, and the betrayal that have torn them apart. But You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask You to move powerfully in their midst. Break the chains of bitterness, pride, and deceit that have taken root. Expose every lie of the enemy and replace it with Your truth. Lord, soften their hearts toward one another and toward You. Where there is rebellion, bring repentance. Where there is anger, bring peace. Where there is sadness, bring joy.

Father, we lift up this dear mother who is suffering under suicidal thoughts and a toxic environment. Surround her with Your angels, Lord. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Renew her mind with Your Word and remind her that her life has purpose in You. Break the power of every negative word and thought, and let her tongue be used to speak life and blessing over her family.

Lord, we pray for unity and authority to be restored in this family in a way that honors You. Where finances have been a point of contention, we ask for Your provision and wisdom. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10)—provide for their needs, Lord, and let them see Your hand in it. If distance keeps them apart, we pray for supernatural opportunities for reconciliation, whether through travel, technology, or divine appointments.

Father, we also lift up the marriage of the one who has shared this request. Soften the heart of their spouse toward this family. Help them to see with Your eyes and love with Your heart. Let their home be a place of refuge and godly counsel, even amid the storm.

Most of all, Lord, we pray for salvation and surrender in this family. If any do not yet know You, draw them to Yourself. Let this season of brokenness lead them to the foot of the cross, where true healing begins. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that Your grace is sufficient.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that You, Lord, are their Provider, Healer, and Redeemer. Restore what has been lost, mend what has been broken, and unite them in Your love.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust You to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
