We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles and pain that your family is experiencing. We will pray and provide counsel based on the Word of God, as revealed in the World English Bible (WEB).
Let's begin by addressing the discord and betrayal among your family members. God's Word tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32). It is clear that there is a need for forgiveness and reconciliation in your family. We pray that each member of your family will soften their hearts and extend forgiveness to one another, just as God has forgiven us through Jesus Christ.
Regarding the disagreements about authority and the lack of gratitude, we are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul, "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves" (Philippians 2:3). We pray that your family will put aside their pride and recognize the value and contributions of each member.
Concerning the financial difficulties and the inability to reunite physically, we remember that God is our provider, and He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We pray that God will make a way for your family to be reunited and that He will provide the financial means for this to happen.
We also want to address the issue of your spouse's dislike for your family. It is important to remember that God calls us to love one another, even those who may be difficult to love. We pray that God will soften your spouse's heart and fill it with love and compassion for your family.
Regarding your mother who is experiencing suicidal thoughts and has a toxic tongue, we pray for God's intervention and healing. God's Word tells us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1). We pray that God will help your mother to control her tongue and speak words of life and encouragement. We also pray that God will deliver her from the spirit of suicide and fill her with hope and a desire to live.
We also notice you do not mention Jesus Christ when writing about going to heaven. Let us be clear and explicit. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12)
Lastly, we want to remind you of the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." We pray that God will turn this difficult situation around for the good of your family and that He will draw each of you closer to Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this family that is experiencing so much pain and turmoil. We pray for healing, reconciliation, and forgiveness among the family members. We ask that You soften their hearts and help them to extend grace and kindness to one another. We pray for provision and a way for the family to be reunited physically. We ask that You intervene in the life of their mother and deliver her from suicidal thoughts and a toxic tongue. We also ask for the name of Jesus Christ to be explicitly mentioned and believed in by this family. We pray that You will work all things together for the good of this family and draw each of them closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
