Your heart for your children and your longing to see them walk in peace and truth is clear, and the exhaustion and hurt you have carried in this season is not unseen by the Lord.

Scripture reminds us that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and that the peace of God will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. You have asked for a hedge of protection and for the covering of the blood of Jesus over your home, and that is a biblical prayer. God Himself spreads a covering over His people. Just as He once placed a blanket of protection around the earth, He places His presence around those who trust Him. When that covering is rejected, vulnerability follows, but when we abide in Him, we are kept under the shadow of His care. You can continue to ask Him daily to anoint your home, every room and doorway, and to station His protection around each of your children and around you.

For your older daughter, I hear your grief over the change you have seen in her. You describe a gracious, humble, thankful young woman who honored the Lord and honored her parents, now pulled toward authoritative and disrespectful patterns, carrying burdens that are not hers to carry, and giving loyalty to those who encourage her to dishonor what she was taught. Living together outside of marriage is not the pattern God has given for a man and a woman. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and life together apart from that covenant often opens the door to confusion, manipulation, financial strain, and spiritual bondage, just as you have observed. It is right to pray that her eyes would be opened, that the false sense of obligation would be broken, and that she would remember who she is as a child of God, with a supportive family and a purposeful calling. That young man is not her husband, not her father, and not the one to direct her faith or finances, and it is not unkind to speak that truth in love.

The Scriptures give us hope in situations like this. God in His mercy led Lot and his family out even when the family was not fully righteous, showing that He is able to deliver when judgment surrounds. He called Jacob to return to the place where God had met him and to the land of his family, turning his heart away from a difficult and manipulative household toward the place of promise. He provided for Ruth through Boaz, a kinsman who did not exploit but protected, who told her to stay with his workers where she would be safe, and who sought rest and security for her in a way that honored God and family inheritance. And Jesus heard the persistent cry of a mother who was outside the covenant people, a Greek woman who fell at His feet for her daughter who was tormented by an unclean spirit, and because of her faith He cast the spirit out and her daughter was made well at home. Your persistent prayer for your daughter matters, and Jesus still hears a parent who keeps coming to Him for a child.

There is also wisdom in recognizing when separation is needed. At the beginning God scattered families who were united around the wrong purpose, and He told Abraham to leave his country and his father's house to follow the Lord. Abraham obeyed imperfectly and took family with him at first, yet God still honored his faith and led him forward. God does not require perfect faith to show mercy, but He does call us to move toward Him and toward what is healthy. Praying that your daughter would be willing to step away from an entangling and controlling influence, to return to fellowship with her church family, to honor her parents again, and to be grateful for the work God has given her, is praying in line with God's will. Honor for father and mother, gratitude, humility, and moral purity are not small things. They protect a life.

For your younger daughter, your prayer is wise, to ask that she remain steadfast, that she not be swayed by an ungodly example, and that she be surrounded by godly friendships and mentors who encourage her in the Lord. Continue to teach her that she should not consider living together before marriage as an acceptable path, and that a future spouse should be one who honors the Lord and values the covenant of marriage. For your son, be assured that his life is precious and deeply loved by God. He is not a burden or an embarrassment but a blessing. Every spirit of hatred, mockery, and exclusion directed at him is rebuked by the truth that he is made in God's image and is worthy of love, inclusion, and protection. Pray for his peace, for his growth in using his language to express his needs, and for the restoration of the sweet relationship he once shared with his sister. God can restore what has been strained.

For you, as you stand in the gap, remember that the Lord fights for you. The enemy seeks to wear you down with worry, fear, and division, but you can ask for wisdom and discernment each day, for the full armor of God to guard you, and for provision for your household so that you may continue to be a blessing to others. Pray also, as you have, for godly spouses for your daughters in the Lord's time, men who will love as Christ loves the church and who will lead in righteousness and honor the covenant of marriage.

I join you in praying that every plan to divide, isolate, and corrupt your family would fail, that every manipulative hold and false commitment would be broken, and that what has been stolen in these years would be restored. May the Lord frustrate every scheme of darkness, remove generational and spoken curses, and cover you and your children with His peace and favor. May He gently guide your older daughter back to Himself, back to a place of safety and wisdom, with freedom rather than shame, and with a renewed hunger for righteousness. May He keep your younger daughter and your son under His hand, and may your home be filled with the Holy Spirit, with light in every dark place, and with fellowship, joy, and unity that surpasses understanding. In the mighty name of Jesus our Savior and Redeemer, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your family and for divine protection over you and your children.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord and to plead the blood of Jesus Christ over you and your children. We have stood in agreement with you against the exhaustion, division, isolation, disrespect, chaos and torment that have come through this young man, his mother and other negative influences, and we have asked the Lord to remove those ungodly influences from your lives and to frustrate every plot and scheme of the enemy to divide and isolate your family. We have prayed that the Lord would saturate you and your children with His peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7, with His favor, unity and protection, and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper Isaiah 54:17, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4.

We have specifically prayed for your older daughter, that the Lord would break the stubborn hold and false obligation this young man and his mother have placed upon her, that He would open her eyes to see the red flags in this relationship outside of marriage, that He would restore her gracious and humble personality and guide her to put the Lord first, to honor her parents, to follow biblical teachings, and to find freedom and restoration. We have asked for a special anointing of protection over her workplace, her finances and her health, and that the Lord would gently guide her back to her supportive family, her church family and her faith.

We have also prayed for your younger daughter, that the Lord would keep a hedge of protection and a ministry of angels around her as she lives closer to school, that He would guard her heart from divisive tactics, jealousy and manipulation, and keep her steadfast in her faith and studies. And we have prayed for your son, that the Lord would shine His light in every dark space, grant him peace that surpasses all understanding, restore his progress and joy, and surround him with love and protection from mockery and hatred, and that He would anoint your home, every room and every corner, and let you all be a beacon of His light.

We have prayed for your strength, wisdom and discernment and for financial blessings to flow into your home, and we have asked the Lord to restore what the enemy has sought to steal and to heal the unity, joy and fellowship of your family.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how the Lord has worked in your family. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name. Amen.
