Your prayer for your family has been heard, and we join you in lifting each need before the throne of grace with faith in Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.
We stand with you in praying for protection, peace and restoration in your home. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but we do ask Him to bring clarity, repentance and healing where there is confusion and harm. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that living together and sharing the privileges of marriage outside that covenant is not in keeping with God's will and can open the door to spiritual and practical harm, as you noted from 1 Corinthians 6:18-20. Our prayer is not for that arrangement to be affirmed or made comfortable, but for your older daughter to see it clearly, to be given courage to step away from it, and to find freedom, safety and wholeness in Christ.
We pray for your older daughter that the Lord would open her eyes to the patterns you have described, the exhaustion, financial strain, division and disrespect, and that any stubbornness or pressure that keeps her bound would be replaced by a hunger for righteousness and truth. As Christ said to the woman who came in faith, be of good cheer, thy faith hath made thee whole, we remember that a mother's persevering faith and prayer also contributes greatly to the healing of her children. May the Lord guard her health, especially her breathing, protect her finances and reputation, and guide her back to a place of stability and wisdom, whether that is in your home or another safe and godly environment, with a sense of freedom and joy and without shame. We ask that she would know she belongs to the Lord, that she is not responsible to carry a man who is not her husband, and that she would no longer feel she must defend or present a false image of a relationship that has brought her harm.
We also pray for the young man and his mother not with hatred but with a desire for God's truth and correction. We ask that any plans to isolate, manipulate or divide your family would be frustrated, that ungodly influence would be removed, and that each person involved would be brought to see their need for Christ and to take responsibility for their own actions in a right way.
We lift up your younger daughter, asking that the Lord keep her steadfast in faith, protect the sweet bond she has with her siblings, and surround her with godly friendships and mentors who will encourage her to honor marriage as God intended and to walk in respect and gratitude within the family. We pray the example she sees would not lead her astray but would deepen her discernment.
We lift up your son and ask for the Lord's special covering over him. May he know deeply that he is a blessing and not a burden, and may he be surrounded by love, acceptance and protection from any word or attitude that would demean or exclude him. We pray for peace and joy for him and for strengthened fellowship with you, his sisters and your extended family, and that any friendship or influence that looks down on him would be replaced by those who cherish him.
For you, we pray for strength, peace that surpasses understanding to guard your heart and mind as promised in Philippians 4:7, and for provision for the financial needs you carry. We ask that God would restore what has been strained, heal what has been wounded, and make your home a sanctuary of His presence where love, unity and respect grow. We pray that Christ, who has disarmed the powers of darkness as Colossians 2:15 declares, would be your confidence, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
We encourage you to continue in steady prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with trusted pastors and believers who can walk with you, offer wise counsel and help set healthy boundaries. If you have a local church family, invite them to support you and your children in person.
May the Lord in His mercy lead your older daughter to repentance and restoration, draw each member of your family closer to Himself and to one another, and provide godly relationships in His timing, including godly spouses for your daughters who will love as Christ loves the church and honor the covenant of marriage.
