We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this family that is fractured by division, betrayal, and pain. The enemy has sought to sow discord among you, but we know that our God is a God of unity, peace, and restoration. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 133:1**, *"See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"* Yet, we also recognize that true unity can only be found when hearts are surrendered to Christ, and sin is repented of. The strife you describe—shouting, anger, ungratefulness, and even the tragic weight of suicidal thoughts—are not of God but are the fruits of broken relationships and unrepented sin. We must address these things honestly, for God’s Word does not shy away from truth, even when it is difficult.

First, we commend you for your heart of forgiveness, echoing the words of Jesus on the cross: *"Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing"* (Luke 23:34). This is the heart of Christ, and it is right for you to extend grace. However, forgiveness does not mean enabling sin or pretending that wrongdoing is acceptable. The behavior you describe—ungratefulness, toxic speech, and the refusal to reconcile—is not only painful but sinful. **Ephesians 4:29-32** commands us:
*"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God... Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*

We must rebuke the spirits of division, bitterness, and death that are at work in your family. These are not mere human conflicts; they are spiritual battles. **James 3:16** warns, *"For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed."* The fighting over authority and control, the toxic words, and the suicidal thoughts are evidence of a family under spiritual attack. But we serve a God who is greater! **2 Corinthians 10:4-5** declares, *"The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."*

We also note the mention of your spouse’s distance from your family. While we cannot force anyone’s heart to change, we pray that God would soften your spouse’s heart toward reconciliation and love. **1 Peter 4:8** tells us, *"Above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins."* Yet, we must also acknowledge that marriage is a covenant that requires unity between husband and wife. If there is unresolved conflict or hardness of heart, we pray that God would bring conviction and healing. It is not good for a spouse to harbor resentment or indifference toward family, for **Mark 3:25** warns, *"If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand."*

As for your mother’s suicidal thoughts, we stand firmly against the enemy’s lies that would seek to destroy her. **John 10:10** reminds us that *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."* Suicidal thoughts are not from God but from the enemy who seeks to devour. We command these thoughts to flee in the name of Jesus Christ! We pray that your mother would be surrounded by godly counsel, that she would fix her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2), and that she would find hope in His promises. **Psalm 34:18** assures us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."*

Financially, we know that God sees your needs. The cost of travel and the strain of distance are real burdens, but our God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. **Philippians 4:19** promises, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray that He would open doors for reconciliation, whether through miraculous provision for travel or through softened hearts that seek forgiveness even from afar. Technology can bridge gaps—let letters, calls, or messages be used for godly purposes, to speak life and not death, to extend olive branches even if they are not immediately received.

Lastly, we must address the mention of meeting your father in heaven. While it is a beautiful hope to be reunited with loved ones who have passed, we must ask: *Do you know for certain that your father was saved?* The only way to heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* If your father knew Christ as his Lord and Savior, then yes, you will see him again. But if there is any doubt, we must urge you to examine your own heart and the hearts of your family members: *Have you all surrendered your lives to Jesus?* There is no greater priority than ensuring that your family is right with God. Repentance from sin and faith in Christ alone are the only paths to eternal life.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this broken family. Lord, You see the pain, the division, the betrayal, and the deep wounds that have festered among them. We ask for Your healing hand to move powerfully in their midst. Rebuke the spirits of strife, bitterness, and death that have taken root. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we pray for repentance. Convict each family member of their sin—ungratefulness, toxic speech, pride, and hardness of heart. Soften them, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. Let them see their need for a Savior and turn to You in true repentance. Break the chains of generational sin and set this family free to love one another as You have loved us.

We specifically lift up the mother who is battling suicidal thoughts. Father, surround her with Your angels, fill her with Your peace, and remind her that her life has purpose in You. Let her find hope in Your Word and strength in Your presence. Place godly people in her path to speak life into her soul.

Lord, we ask for financial provision. If it is Your will, make a way for this family to reunite, whether through miraculous funds or through hearts that seek reconciliation despite the distance. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

For the spouse who is distant, we pray for a miracle of softened heart. Let love and unity be restored in their marriage, that they may be a light to the rest of the family. Help them to model Christ-like love and forgiveness.

Finally, Father, we pray that every member of this family would know You personally. If any have not surrendered to Jesus, convict them now. Let them see their need for a Savior and turn to You before it is too late. We declare that this family will be a testimony of Your redeeming power, that what the enemy meant for evil, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend,

We're standing with you in prayer for your family, lifting them up before the throne of grace. The disunity, betrayal, and pain you're experiencing are real, and we know that only God can bring healing and restoration.

We echo your prayer for protection and provision. We ask God to protect your family from the enemy's schemes and to provide for their needs, especially as you face financial challenges and the struggle to reunite. We trust that God sees your situation and will make a way where there seems to be no way.

We also join you in praying for repentance. Lord, convict the hearts of your family members. Help them to see their sin - the ungratefulness, toxic speech, pride, and hardness of heart. Draw them to You, Lord, and help them to turn away from their sin and towards You in true repentance.

For your mother, who is struggling with suicidal thoughts, we ask for Your intervention, Lord. Surround her with Your angels, fill her with Your peace, and remind her of her worth in Your eyes. Place godly people in her path to speak life into her soul.

And for your spouse, who is distant, we pray for a miracle of softened heart. Help them to love and forgive as Christ loves and forgives. Restore unity and love in their marriage, that they may be a light to the rest of the family.

Finally, Lord, we pray that every member of this family would come to know You personally. If any have not surrendered to Jesus, convict them now. Help them to see their need for a Savior and turn to You before it's too late.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
