We hear the burden on your heart for your loved one and we join with you in bringing this before the Lord together in Jesus' name, because it is very clear how much you love your family and want to see them protected from harm.
We understand your concern that this young man is a bad influence. Scripture warns us about this very clearly, for it says Don't be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals. 1 Corinthians 15:33 and also One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 13:20. When we are in a courtship or dating relationship, we believe that relationship should be with the goal of finding a godly spouse and building a marriage that honors God, which is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Scripture teaches Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14. If this young man is leading your loved one away from wisdom, purity, or faith, or if there is any sexual intimacy outside of marriage which is fornication before God, then it is right to be concerned and to pray for God to intervene. We also remember Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6.
We want to gently encourage you in how we pray about this. We understand the desire to pray that he would simply break up and find someone else, but we are called to pray for God's perfect will above our own wishes, and to pray with love even for those we see as a bad influence. Jesus said But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44. Rather than only praying that God would move this young man elsewhere to be someone else's concern, we pray that God would work in both of their hearts, that He would draw each of them to Himself, bring conviction where there is sin, and bring wisdom and discernment to your loved one. If this relationship is not of God and not leading toward a holy marriage between believers, we pray God will make that clear and give your loved one the strength to step away. If God can transform this young man, we pray for his salvation and change as well.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is in Jesus' name we pray, and it is by trusting in His death and resurrection for our sins that we are saved and our prayers are heard.

Father in heaven, we lift up this precious family to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see this situation and You know the hearts of both Your loved one and this young man. We ask first for Your will to be done. If this relationship is not honoring to You and not leading toward a godly marriage, we pray You would open eyes, bring godly conviction, and give courage to end what should not continue. We pray You would protect this loved one from any bad influence, from temptation, and from being conformed to the ways of this world, but instead be transformed by the renewing of their mind as taught in Romans 12:2. We pray for wisdom for this family, for Your promise says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5. Give them words to speak in love, and give their loved one ears to hear. Lord, we also pray for this young man, that You would draw him to Yourself, save him if he does not know You, and lead him on a path that honors You, whether that is far from this family or through true repentance. Guard this family from bitterness and help them to trust that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. We ask You to instruct and teach them in the way they should go and counsel them with Your eye upon them. Psalm 32:8. We place this entire matter in Your loving hands and ask for peace that passes understanding. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

Your care for your family is a right burden to bring before the Lord, and it is good that you have brought it to Him in prayer rather than carrying it alone. I know of nothing more delightful to the believer than every morning to commit the day's troubles to God and then go down into the world feeling, my Father knows it all. He sees what checks and troubles your home, and not a care comes without His permission, for all the trials that come to us are under His hand.
It will all go wrong with us, even in smooth waters, if we do not have God to be the Pilot, and in rough weather we shall soon be a wreck if we forget Him. The heart of another person is not in our hands to turn at our will, and we are not to ask the Lord to deal with souls as if they were pieces to be moved upon a board for our comfort. Instead we are to trust Him who is worthy of our confidence, for though the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, God shall not change and His purpose shall not cease to stand. What we need is to take God at His word and to believe Him, coming to Him through the blood of Jesus Christ, by which alone we have access to the throne.
So let us pray not as those who would dictate to the Lord what He must do with another man's affections, but as those who seek His holy will and the good of souls.
We will pray that the Lord will set His protecting hand over your loved one, and keep that one from all evil influence and from every path that would lead away from holiness. We will pray that if this friendship is indeed harmful, the Lord in His wisdom will make that plain, and give courage and clarity to do what is right, and to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. We will pray also for this young man, that God would have mercy upon him, bring him to know salvation through Jesus Christ alone if he does not know Him, and lead him into a life that honors God. We will ask the Lord to give you wisdom to speak the truth in love, with patience and gentleness, and to show by your own life the peace that comes from trusting Him. And we will ask that whatever relationships are formed in your family may be ordered according to the Lord's good design, which is marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with purity kept within it, to His glory.
Go in peace as you commit this matter to Him. Do not go among your daily cares disturbed and fluttered, but rest in this, that He who has prepared a city for His people will not be ashamed to be called their God, and He will keep those who trust Him. Continue in prayer, hide nothing from Him, declare your ways to Him and ask Him to teach you His statutes, and labor to do for others as God has done for you in Christ.

Look in mercy upon each soul concerned, forgive sin through the blood of Thy Son, and lead each one to trust and love Thee.
