We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your family, and we're here to pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles.
Let's start by addressing the discord and disunity in your family. It's important to remember that God desires unity and love among families. As it is written in Mark 3:25 WEB, "If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand." We pray that God will help you and your family members resolve any resentment and forgive each other, just as God has forgiven us. Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB reminds us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Regarding the influence of Satan, we rebuke any evil forces trying to disrupt your family's unity and their relationship with you. James 4:7 WEB tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We pray that your family will put God first in their lives and seek His will.
It's commendable that you want to give beautiful things to your family, but it's essential to remember that material possessions should not be the primary focus. We should be content in all circumstances, as Philippians 4:11-13 WEB reminds us. It's crucial that your family understands gratitude and is honest with God and you. We rebuke any ingratitude and pray that their hearts will be touched by God's love.
Your concern about them only thinking about money is also a thought that needs to be addressed. If they are shouting, yelling, or complaining about you because of financial issues, Hebrews 13:5 WEB says "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
We believe that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved, Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Since you mentioned Jesus Christ, we can pray together. So pray with us "Dear Lord, we pray that you supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory, as stated in Philippians 4:19 WEB. Touch their hearts and draw them closer to You, healing our relationship in the process."
Lastly, we want to lift up your mother in prayer. It's understandable that you're concerned about her being alone after surgery. We pray that God will protect her and provide companionship through friends or family during this challenging time. Psalm 72:12-13 WEB says, "For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor also, and him who has no helper. He will have pity on the poor and needy. He will save the souls of the needy."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this family in prayer. We ask that You bring unity and love among them, helping them to overcome any resentment and forgive each other. We rebuke any evil forces trying to disrupt their unity and their relationship. We pray that they will put You first in their lives and seek Your will. Touch their hearts and draw them closer to You, healing their relationships in the process. We ask that You supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. We also lift up the mother in prayer, asking for Your protection and provision of companionship during this challenging time. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."
