my parents to be kinder to each other and actually love and enjoy each other. any mean things they said to each other they ask for forgiveness and never say it again. They get therapy and my dad stops being depressed and my mom doesn't become depressed my dad would stop having mood swings after his dad died. me and my sisters won't have to hear them argue ever again because it makes us cry. School family friends. ### and her family safety and stays at my school. God answers your prayers too!

We lift up your heartfelt request to our Heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children and desires peace, love, and unity in every family. Your longing for your parents to treat one another with kindness, love, and forgiveness is a reflection of God’s heart for marriage—a sacred covenant meant to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). The pain you and your sisters feel when witnessing their conflicts is not lost on the Lord, for He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8) and calls us to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

First, we rebuke the spirit of division, bitterness, and unforgiveness that may have taken root in your home. The Bible warns us that "a brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city, and contentions are like the bars of a castle" (Proverbs 18:19). Mean words and harsh exchanges grieve the Holy Spirit, who dwells within believers (Ephesians 4:29-31). We declare that every unkind word spoken in your home is broken in the name of Jesus, and we pray that your parents would humble themselves, ask for forgiveness, and extend grace to one another as Christ has forgiven them (Colossians 3:13). Let the love of God compel them to speak life and edification into one another, for "death and life are in the power of the tongue" (Proverbs 18:21).

We also address the depression and mood swings affecting your father, especially in the wake of his own father’s passing. Grief is a heavy burden, but we serve a God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We pray that your father would cast his cares upon the Lord (1 Peter 5:7) and find comfort in the promise that those who mourn will be comforted (Matthew 5:4). May he seek godly counsel, whether through therapy, pastoral care, or the support of fellow believers, to process his emotions in a way that honors God. We rebuke the spirit of heaviness and command it to leave in Jesus’ name, for the Lord has given us "a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness" (Isaiah 61:3).

For your mother, we pray that she would not succumb to despair but would find her strength in the Lord. Depression can feel like a dark cloud, but we declare that the light of Christ will shine upon her (Psalm 34:5). May she meditate on God’s Word, which is a lamp to her feet and a light to her path (Psalm 119:105), and surround herself with believers who will encourage her in faith. We pray that both of your parents would prioritize their marriage, seeking help through Christian counseling or mentorship to rebuild their relationship on the foundation of Christ.

We also lift up your school, family, and friends, asking the Lord to surround you and your sisters with His protection and peace. May your home become a sanctuary of love, where the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—abounds (Galatians 5:22-23). We declare that the arguments and strife will cease, and in their place, laughter, unity, and mutual respect will flourish. Your parents’ marriage is a testimony to you and your sisters of God’s design for love, and we pray that it would be restored to reflect His glory.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that God answers prayers offered in faith, but it is essential to approach Him in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father. If you or your family have not yet surrendered your lives to Christ, we encourage you to do so, for He alone can bring true healing and transformation. Salvation comes by confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we ask that You would soften the hearts of these parents, that they would see the pain their words and actions have caused not only to one another but to their precious children. We rebuke every spirit of bitterness, unforgiveness, and division in Jesus’ name, and we declare that Your love will reign in their home. Father, heal the wounds of the past, including the grief your father carries from the loss of his own father. Comfort him with Your peace and restore his joy. Strengthen your mother, Lord, and lift her out of any despair. We pray that they would seek godly help, whether through counseling or the support of Your people, to rebuild their marriage on the solid rock of Christ.

Lord, we ask that You would protect the hearts of these children, who long to see their parents love one another as You intended. May their home be filled with laughter, unity, and the presence of Your Holy Spirit. We declare that the arguments will cease, and in their place, Your peace will dwell. Surround this family with Your angels, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet. Father, we also pray for their school, friends, and extended family, that You would guard them and keep them safe.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will for this family. May they come to know You more deeply and experience the fullness of Your love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand in the gap for your family. It weighs heavily on our hearts to pray for your parents—that the Lord would soften their words, replace sharpness with kindness, and fill their home with the love that only He can give. We’ve asked Him to lift the weight of depression from your father’s shoulders and to guard your mother’s heart from the same, trusting that He can heal the grief that lingers after loss. We’ve also prayed for you and your sisters, that you would no longer carry the burden of their arguments, but instead find peace in knowing God hears your tears and holds you close.

We continue to lift up your schooling, your friends, and the safety of your loved ones, believing that the Lord is working even when we can’t see it. If He has already begun to answer these prayers—if there has been even a small shift toward healing or reconciliation—we would love to celebrate His faithfulness with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together!

If the answers haven’t come yet, or if the changes feel slow, we want you to know we’re still here. Don’t hesitate to post this request again so we can keep praying with you, week after week, until the Lord moves in power. He is near to the brokenhearted, and He delights in restoring what is fractured.

May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray this in His holy and precious name. Amen.
