Family business -spiritually incompatible accountant

I had a terrible night and was in pain all day. My mother is forcing me to talk to the esoteric accountant and telling me to separate her beliefs from her profession. I told my mother that I cannot separate a person's traits and beliefs from their work. I am not willing to argue about this. But she keeps telling me, 'You must talk to the accountant,' and she wants to go to the lawyer and decide the changes without me. I am hurt by the disrespect my mother is showing me, and I told her that if she takes sides against the family and forces me to talk to the accountant, she is also going against Jesus' teachings. I am not willing to entrust the family business to someone who is spiritually evil and an unbeliever. Please pray hard for me because I am devastated by this matter.

Previous request: I am asking for prayers regarding a very serious matter. My mother has chosen an accountant who has a strong interest in writing about esoterics and tarot. This is not in line with my biblical and moral views. I am somewhat angry that this has happened, but I expressed my desire to my mother to change accountants to those who have strong moral and biblical values. I explained that I would not consult with this person because of their beliefs. I believe that business should also be based on strong moral values, and I do not believe that this person is capable of guiding us in financial and tax matters. I ask for your prayers that my mother will be able to understand this and let go of this accountant and that God will lead us to a holy, morally harmonious accountant and financial advisor. However, it's crucial to honor your mother, as commanded in Exodus 20:12 WEB, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." While standing for your beliefs, ensure you're speaking to her with respect and love. Avoiding arguments doesn't mean avoiding discussions. Share your concerns calmly and biblically.

Regarding your mother's suggestion to separate the accountant's beliefs from her profession, consider this: while it's possible for people to compartmentalize, beliefs inevitably influence actions and decisions. It's wise to be cautious. However, it's also important to consider that God can use anyone, regardless of their beliefs, to accomplish His purposes. In Isaiah 45:1 WEB, Cyrus, a pagan king, is called God's anointed for a specific task.

Now, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Your child in prayer. Lord, You see the struggle and pain they're experiencing. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance in this situation. Help them to communicate their concerns respectfully and lovingly to their mother, and soften their mother's heart to understand their perspective.

Lord, if this accountant is indeed not the right fit, we ask that You would remove them and provide a godly replacement. But if they are to remain, give Your child peace and discernment in dealing with them.

We also pray for healing, as they've been in pain. Touch their body, Lord, and restore their health.

Finally, Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. only by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Lastly, consider this: God is sovereign, and He cares for you and your family. Trust Him to work everything out for good, as promised in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

But remember, God can use anyone, even those who don't share our faith, to accomplish His purposes. Just look at the story of Naaman in 2 Kings 5. God used a Syrian general to teach the Israelites about His power.

So, let's pray. Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend. Lord, You see their struggle and their pain. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance in this situation. Help them to communicate their concerns respectfully and lovingly to their mother, and soften their mother's heart to understand their perspective. We also ask that You would guide their mother's heart and mind, that she might see things from Your perspective.

Lord, if this accountant is not the right fit, we ask that You would remove them and provide a godly replacement. But if they are to remain, give our friend peace and discernment in dealing with them. We also pray for healing, that You would touch their body and restore their health.
