I need prayer for my business. Ken and I have had this business for over 18 years, alone, but recently his son (my stepson) moved here and essentially wants to take it over. It is a sole proprietorship in my name, and because the son has demonstrated repeated bad money decisions, is heavily in debt and owes uncle sam, I cannot give any kind of control to him. Ken as his father wants to help him, and this is alright, but sonny boy needs to get a job and support his family, not expecting my sick husband, who needs to retire, to do this for him. The son is very hard-headed and very determined about this and now I am actually threatening to shut down the business and move on to stop the craziness here. There are more complications, but this is a synopsis. Ken's health is being affected here, and so now is mine. Please pray that the Lord will send this man on to bigger and better things. That he will give up trying to force this issue and causing so much friction between my husband and myself. I want good things for him, but this will not work. I didn't mention that he just left the job he had with his mother and stepfather in Maryland (after several years) because they had not handed the business over to him and weren't paying him enough. They had however, given him 30,000 dollars on his house, which they just let go back to the bank, plus many thousand more. He is 38. We can't support him. Please pray that the Lord will stop this attack of Satan thru this man. I need resolution. I need him to move on. Thanks.
