Faith

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of ###, who desires to have their faith built up. Lord, we acknowledge that faith is a precious gift from You, and we ask that You would increase their faith. Your Word reminds us in Hebrews 12:2 that Jesus is the author and perfecter of our faith. We pray that ### would fix their eyes more simply on Jesus Christ, knowing that in Him there is a fullness for every believer.

Help ### to cultivate the habit of seeking You and knowing more of the riches and blessings that are found in Christ. May they not be consumed by their own imperfections or besetting sins, but instead, may they look up to their risen Savior who is seated at Your right hand. Help them to realize that Jesus not only died for them but also rose again and is ever living as their Priest, Advocate, and Almighty Friend.

Just as Peter walked on water when his eyes were fixed on Jesus, we pray that ### would keep their gaze steadfastly on You. May they not be swayed by the winds and waves of doubt, but instead, trust in Your power and faithfulness. Lord, when doubts arise, may they cry out to You, just as Peter did, and experience Your saving hand.

We ask, Lord, that You would grant ### the gift of faith. We know that faith comes from You, and we believe that when they ask for an increase in faith, they will not ask in vain. Strengthen their faith, Lord, so that they may wage a good warfare, stand firm in their walk with You, and make progress in this world.

We pray that ### would daily seek a continual growth of faith. Help them to abide in Christ, drawing closer to Him each day and holding onto Him tightly. May they never forget to pray the prayer of the disciples, "Lord, increase our faith."

Lord, we ask that ### would guard their faith jealously and keep the fire of faith burning brightly within them. May their faith be a source of strength, guidance, and assurance as they navigate through life.

In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.
