In these tough circumstances, we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, crying out to our Heavenly Father for help. We are reminded of the Scripture that says, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
We pray together,
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up all those facing uncertainty and losing hope. We ask for Your comfort and guidance during these difficult times. We specifically lift up the upcoming tough conversation, and we plead the blood of Jesus over it. We pray that You would soften the hearts of all parties involved and grant them ears to listen, wisdom to understand, and a willingness to come to a reasonable resolution. We rebuke any spirit of confusion, misunderstanding, or stubbornness that may hinder this conversation. Grant all parties involved the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Help them to listen to reason and to seek Your will above all else.
Father, we also pray for those who are losing hope in these uncertain times. We declare that You are our hope and our salvation, and that those who put their trust in You will never be put to shame. We pray that they would fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising its shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. By faith, we encourage them to run the race that is set before them, looking to Jesus, not growing weary or losing heart.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us that we might have life and have it more abundantly. It is in His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. We praise You, Father, that You are our comfort and our hope, and that You hear the prayers of Your children. We love you Lord.
Lastly, we encourage all to, "Rejoice in hope. Endure under hardship. Persist in prayer," Romans 12:12 WEB, knowing that our God is faithful and that His love endures forever. We will pray for our "daily bread" and expect God to provide everything we need. Praise God that we can pray and expect God to answer our prayers. That is the hope and promise we have in Jesus Christ.
