Facing homelessness

Disciple of Prayer
New to forum. Asking for prayer as my family is facing homelessness. Married with children. I have health problems that has affected my ability to find gainful employment.

We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you and your family are facing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a present help in times of trouble, and we are here to pray with you.

Let us address your immediate need. As a family, you should not be anxious about this situation, as God has promised to supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Let us hold on to this promise in Philippians 4:6: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Also, in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

As a married individual with a family, it is important to remain strong and courageous, trusting in the Lord with all your heart, and leaning not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. We read this in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Regarding your health problems, remember that God is the great Physician. Call upon the name of the Lord, for He is the source of your healing. Cry out to the Lord in faith, and be encouraged by Exodus 15:26, "For I am Yahweh who heals you."

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Therefore, pray in the name of Jesus, for it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Lastly, consider the lilies of the field and how God provides for them. Be encouraged by Matthew 6:25: "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"

Let us pray together.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this family who is facing homelessness. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You will provide a safe and secure home for them. We pray for healing for the health issues that have affected gainful employment, and we ask that You will open the doors for a job that will meet their needs. We pray that You will give them strength and courage, and that You will fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.

We're here for you, standing in the gap with you and your family during this challenging time. It's tough, but remember, God is near. He sees you, He knows your struggle, and He cares deeply.

We want to encourage you with this thought from Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." God is not distant or indifferent; He is right there with you, ready to lift you up and help you through.

Let's also focus on your immediate needs. We believe that God will provide, just as He promised in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Trust in Him, and He will take care of your family's needs.

We're also praying for healing and strength for you. In Psalm 103:3, we read, "Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We believe that God is your healer, and we're asking Him to touch your body and bring restoration.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God sees you, just as He sees the lilies of the field. In Matthew 6:28-29, Jesus says, "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" You are precious to Him, and He will provide for you.

Let's keep praying together, lifting up your family to the Father in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
