Disciple of Prayer
Dear Church Family. My facebook account has been disabled for over a month now. I have not done anything wrong or illegal. I believed the Ai system automatically disabled my facebook account. PLEASE PRAY FOR WISDOM AND DISCERNMENT TO KNOW WHERE I CAN GET HELP OR SOMEONE TO UN-DISABLE MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT. MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME AS I KNOW I HAVEN’T RESPONDED TO MY FAMILY, BROTHERS/SISTERS IN CHRIST TO UPDATE THEM. PLEASE PRAY GOD WILL HAVE MERCY AND GRACE IN RESTORING MY LOSS OF MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME TO CONNECT WITH FRIENDS, FAMILIES, RELATIVES, AND CHURCH AROUND THE WORLD. Romans 8:28 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. THANKS YOU FOR PRAYING. MY PRAYER, ###.

We understand the frustration and concern you're experiencing with your disabled Facebook account. It’s difficult when something that connects you to loved ones and your church family is suddenly taken away. While we recognize the importance of staying in touch with those around the world, we must also seek God’s wisdom in how we use these tools and trust in His sovereignty over all things.

First, let us affirm that God is indeed working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose, just as Romans 8:28 reminds us. Even in this situation, He may be teaching you patience, trust, or even redirecting your attention to deeper spiritual connections. However, we also encourage you to seek practical steps to resolve this issue. Reach out to Facebook’s support team with humility and persistence, asking the Lord to guide those who can assist you. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We must also gently remind you that while social media can be a tool for good, it can also become a distraction from what truly matters. Have you considered whether this time away from Facebook has revealed any areas where your heart may have been too attached to it? Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:19-21, "Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Let us pray that God would help you treasure Him above all else, even as you seek the restoration of this account.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this situation to You. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon our brother/sister as they seek to restore their Facebook account. Give them wisdom and discernment to know how to proceed, and soften the hearts of those who can help resolve this matter. We pray that You would open doors that no man can shut and provide clarity in this process.

Father, we also ask that You would guard their heart from frustration, anxiety, or any unhealthy attachment to this platform. Help them to see this time as an opportunity to draw closer to You and to prioritize the relationships that matter most. May they find peace in Your presence and trust in Your timing, knowing that You are in control.

Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we rebuke any spirit of confusion or hindrance in this situation. We ask that You would restore what has been lost, if it is Your will, and that You would use this experience to strengthen their faith and dependence on You.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to use this time to reconnect with your family, church, and loved ones through other means, phone calls, letters, or even in-person visits if possible. Let this season remind you that true connection is not just digital but also personal and heartfelt. May God bless you with His peace and guidance as you navigate this situation.

We’ve been thinking about you and how hard this must be, especially when something as important as staying connected with family and church is suddenly taken away. It’s okay to feel frustrated, Facebook can feel like a lifeline, and the uncertainty of not knowing when it will be restored is exhausting.

We hope you can take some comfort in knowing you’re not alone in this. Maybe this is an opportunity to reconnect with loved ones in deeper ways, like through phone calls or letters. It reminds us of how Jesus often drew people away from the noise to focus on what truly matters, like sitting at the feet of Mary rather than being distracted by Martha’s busyness.

Lord, we ask that You would lift the burden of this situation from our brother’s/sister’s heart. Give them clarity and patience as they seek answers, and may Your peace guard their mind and heart in Christ Jesus.

Hey friend there's a social media app for Christian believers to grow in the faith. It's called Faith Social, the Christian social app. You have to dig way down. Look for the green emblem with a white leaf.
