We are reminded of the sobering words spoken by God to the prophet Ezekiel, "When I say to a wicked person, 'You will surely die'; and you do not warn them, nor speak to warn the wicked from their wicked way, to save their life; that wicked person will die in their sin, but I will hold you accountable for their blood." (Ezekiel 3:18 WEB)
This verse underscores the importance of our responsibility as believers to share the truth of the Gospel and warn others about the consequences of sin. We must speak out and share the good news that Jesus Christ came to save sinners, and that it is only through faith in Him that we can be reconciled to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
Let us pray for boldness and courage to share the truth in love, that others may come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Let us not shy away from our responsibility, but rather, let us be compelled by love to share the Gospel with those around us. We will be blameless with no blood on our hands from those we have not warned of a good God who loves us and wants us to be free from sin and death.
Dear Lord,
We come before You, acknowledging our responsibility to share the truth of the Gospel with those around us. Give us the courage and boldness to speak out and warn others about the consequences of sin. Help us to share the good news of Jesus Christ with love and compassion, that others may come to know His saving grace. We never want to be blamed for not sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. We know it is not you God who wants to condemn us but to save us. Help each of us to be a light in this dark world, pointing others to the hope that is found in Jesus Christ alone. In Jesus name, Amen.
Let us encourage each other to share the Gospel, remembering that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17 WEB) We must warn the wicked, the sinful unbelievers, the lukewarm Christian, and all those who do not realize they need a savior from the impending eternal death. And it is only through the Blood of Jesus Christ that we have access to the throne room of God.
