We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for healing and restored health of eyesight following retina surgery. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our inmost parts and knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). You see every detail of this situation, and we trust in Your power to restore what has been damaged.
Lord, we ask that You touch these eyes with Your healing hand. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We claim this promise over this situation, believing that You are able to bring complete restoration. Strengthen the healing process, remove any complications, and grant clarity of vision according to Your perfect will.
We also pray for patience and peace during this time of recovery. Help this dear one to rest in the assurance that You are in control, even when the outcome is uncertain. Remind them that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28), and that Your plans for them are for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold during this time. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We declare that this person will walk in faith, not fear, trusting in Your goodness and mercy.
We also ask that You would guide the hands of the medical professionals involved in this care. Give them wisdom, skill, and discernment as they continue to provide treatment. Your Word says in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* We pray that every decision made would align with Your will and lead to full restoration.
Lord, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can come before You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is in His name that we pray for this healing. We believe that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this truth today.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
