We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for healing and restored health of eyesight following retina surgery. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our inmost parts and knit us together in our mothers’ wombs (Psalm 139:13-14). You open the eyes of the blind and restore sight to those who cannot see (Psalm 146:8). We stand on Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that healing is already accomplished through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
Lord, we ask that You touch these eyes with Your healing hand. Restore what has been damaged, strengthen what has been weakened, and bring complete wholeness to this precious gift of sight. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or fear that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this surgery was ordained by You for a purpose, and we trust in Your perfect plan for full restoration.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical professionals involved in this care. Guide their hands, Lord, and give them clarity as they continue to monitor and treat this condition. May every follow-up appointment and every step of recovery be ordered by You, and may this healing bring glory to Your name.
Father, we also ask that You guard this heart against anxiety or doubt. Remind this beloved child of Yours that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Fill them with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You. Let this time of healing be a testimony of Your faithfulness, a reminder that You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13) and the God who heals (Exodus 15:26).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are working even now, and we declare that this eyesight will be fully restored according to Your will. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
