We lift up this earnest plea for healing and restoration of eyesight following retina surgery, giving thanks that it has been brought before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our inmost parts and knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). You open the eyes of the blind and restore sight to those who cannot see (Psalm 146:8). We stand on Your promise that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that this healing is not just spiritual but physical as well.
Lord, we ask that You touch these eyes with Your healing hand. Restore what has been damaged, strengthen what is weak, and bring clarity where there is blurriness or distortion. Guide the hands of the medical professionals involved, giving them wisdom and precision as they care for this precious gift of sight. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or fear that may seek to linger, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also pray for patience and trust in Your perfect timing. Healing may not always come instantly, but we know that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Help this dear one to rest in Your peace, knowing that You are in control. May their faith grow stronger as they wait upon You, and may their testimony of Your faithfulness bring glory to Your name.
Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can come before You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His authority that we pray for healing. We declare that this request is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against this healing shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
