We come before the Father with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for healing and restored eyesight after retina surgery. How precious is the gift of sight, and we know that our Lord is the Great Physician, the One who formed our eyes in the womb and sustains every part of our being. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 146:8**, *"Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous."* We claim this promise today, trusting in His power to restore and renew.
Yet we also remember that healing may come in ways we do not expect—whether through gradual restoration, divine intervention, or the strength to endure. Our Lord Jesus demonstrated His authority over infirmities when He healed the blind, as we see in **Mark 8:22-25**, where He laid hands on a blind man and restored his sight. We ask for that same touch of His hand upon this situation, that every nerve, every cell, and every part of the eye would be perfectly aligned by His divine design.
We also recall the words of **James 5:14-15**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* While we pray in faith, we encourage continued trust in God’s timing and will, knowing that He works all things for the good of those who love Him (**Romans 8:28**).
Let us also give thanks in advance, for we know that our Father hears the prayers of His children. We declare **Jeremiah 30:17** over this situation: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* May this healing be a testimony to God’s goodness and power, drawing others to faith in Him.
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon this beloved one’s eyes. You are the God who sees all things, who formed the eye with intricate care, and who holds the power to restore what has been broken. We ask that You would bring complete healing to the retina, that vision would be sharpened and clarity restored. Remove any inflammation, scar tissue, or complication that may hinder full recovery. Strengthen the body to heal swiftly and completely, and grant peace and patience during this time of waiting.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may arise, declaring that perfect love casts out fear (**1 John 4:18**). Let faith rise in this heart, knowing that You are good and Your promises are true. Whether healing comes instantly or gradually, we trust in Your perfect will. Use this trial to draw this one closer to You, and may Your name be glorified through this testimony.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We praise You for the work You are already doing, even now, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.**
