We are truly sorry to hear about the diagnosis, but we are encouraged that you have faith in Jesus Christ. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in God's power to heal and restore. It is by the name of Jesus Christ that we come to the Father.
Let's remember a few Scriptures that bear witness to Jesus's ability to heal.
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, lifting up our dear friend who is facing an eye disease. Lord, You know the details of this condition, and You are the Great Physician who can heal all diseases.
Father, we stand on Your promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We believe in our heart this can include this disease. Lord, just as You opened the eyes of the blind man in John 9:1-7, we ask You to touch our friend's eyes and restore their sight. We pray that any progression of this disease would be halted and reversed, in Jesus' name.
We also take comfort in Your word in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh." Father, we claim this promise for our friend, trusting in Your power to heal and restore.
Lord, we ask that You fill our friend with Your peace during this time, and that You would guide the doctors and medical professionals who are treating them. Give our friend strength and courage, and help them to trust in You completely.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who paid the price for all our healing on the cross at Calvary. We thank You for the power of the cross and the blood of Jesus that overcomes all the power of the enemy. It is only by the name of Jesus we can approach You oh God, and it is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In Jesus Christ, we have the victory!
We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, worshipping Him, and trusting in His goodness. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and pray for you during this time. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Trust in Him, and know that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Though we know that it is not always God's will to heal, we have faith and claim healing in Jesus name.
