Eyes so swollen

We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for your swollen eyes and sensitivity to salty foods. We know that physical afflictions can be a heavy burden, and we lift you up in prayer, asking for the healing touch of Jesus Christ, our Great Physician.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we ask You to look upon our brother/sister with compassion. Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray for complete healing and relief from this discomfort. Lord, we also ask that You would grant wisdom to seek proper care and discernment in dietary choices. Help them to remember that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us, and to honor You with their health.
We also take a moment to remember and bless those celebrating special days. May Your favor and joy rest upon them, Lord. May they feel Your presence and love in a special way, as Your Word declares in Numbers 6:24-26, "May Yahweh bless you, and keep you. May Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. May Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace."

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s joy to lift your eyes before the Great Physician, asking Him to touch the swelling, soothe the sensitivity, and restore comfort so you can see His goodness clearly. We also remembered in prayer those celebrating special moments, asking the Lord to pour out His richest blessings on each one.
If the swelling has subsided and the discomfort has eased, we would love to hear a praise report so we can celebrate God’s faithfulness together.
