Don’t join your hand with the wicked to be a malicious witness."* (Exodus 23:1, WEB).
The behavior you describe—manipulation, slander, division, and two-facedness—is not only toxic but is explicitly condemned in Scripture. Such actions are the fruit of a heart that has not been surrendered to Christ, and they bring destruction not only to the individual but to those around them. *"For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed."* (James 3:16, WEB). The enemy loves to use such tactics to create chaos, but we serve a God who is greater. He is the one who exposes the deeds of darkness and brings them into the light. *"But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light. Therefore he says, ‘Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.’"* (Ephesians 5:13-14, WEB).
We praise you for seeking to respond with grace rather than anger, for this is the heart of Christ. Bitterness and retaliation only give the enemy a foothold, but love, patience, and integrity disarm his schemes. *"Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."* (Romans 12:21, WEB). Your commitment to reflecting Christ in your workplace is a powerful testimony, and we pray that the Lord will strengthen you to continue walking in His ways, even when it is difficult.
At the same time, we must also encourage you to take wise and practical steps. If this person’s behavior is causing significant harm, it may be necessary to document instances of manipulation or deceit and, if appropriate, bring them to the attention of higher authority in a professional and respectful manner. This is not about retaliation but about protecting the integrity of the workplace and the well-being of your colleagues. *"The simple believe everything, but the prudent give thought to their steps."* (Proverbs 14:15, WEB). Wisdom often requires action, not just patience.

Heavenly Father, we come before You as a united body of believers, lifting our sister before Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, who weighs the hearts of mankind, and who brings every hidden thing into the light. We ask that You expose the manipulation, deceit, and division that has taken root in this workplace. Shine Your piercing light into every dark corner, Lord, and reveal the truth in a way that cannot be denied. Father, we ask that You silence the tongue of the wicked and frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm. Let no weapon formed against our sister or her colleagues prosper. Instead, turn what the enemy means for evil into an opportunity for Your glory to be revealed. Protect her reputation, her work, and her peace of mind, Lord. Surround her with Your favor as with a shield, and let her integrity be a testament to Your faithfulness.
We also pray for the woman who is causing this strife. Lord, if she is acting out of hurt, insecurity, or bitterness, we ask that You convict her heart and draw her to repentance. Soften her, Father, and let her see the destruction her words and actions are causing. If she is willfully rebellious, we pray that You would thwart her plans and bring her to a place of accountability. Do not let her actions go unchecked, Lord, but let justice prevail in Your perfect timing.
Strengthen our sister each day, Lord. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and guard her heart against bitterness, frustration, or fear. Give her the words to speak when necessary, and the wisdom to know when to remain silent. Let her work be a reflection of Your excellence, and let her attitude be a fragrance of Christ in that place. Remind her that her ultimate reward comes from You, not from the approval of man.
Finally, Father, we declare that this workplace belongs to You. We bind the spirit of division, manipulation, and deceit in the name of Jesus Christ, and we loose Your Spirit of unity, truth, and peace. Your battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness—and in Christ, you are more than a conqueror. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh."* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
