We come before the throne of grace with thanksgiving in our hearts, acknowledging the power and protection found in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ. We lift up these excursions planned for the new year, asking that they indeed be fully covered by the Blood of our Lord and Savior. By His stripes, we are healed, and by His Blood, we are protected. We declare that no weapon formed against these gatherings shall prosper, and every plan of the enemy to disrupt joy, peace, or provision is thwarted in Jesus' name.
Father, we pray over the restaurants where these groups will gather. We ask that Your presence would fill these places, sanctifying the food and drinks, that they may nourish the bodies of Your children without harm or lack. We rebuke any spirit of scarcity, and we declare abundance in every area—enough food, enough drink, and enough joy to satisfy every heart. Let the atmosphere be charged with Your love, laughter, and fellowship, so that all who attend leave with hearts full of gratitude and happiness. We speak life, blessing, and favor over every detail, trusting that You will cause all things to work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also ask that You would guard the hearts and minds of everyone involved. Let these excursions be opportunities not only for enjoyment but for encouragement, edification, and the strengthening of faith. May Your Holy Spirit move in powerful ways, drawing hearts closer to You and to one another. We pray that any hidden agendas, negative influences, or temptations would be exposed and rendered powerless by the Blood of Jesus. Let these gatherings be a testimony to Your goodness, mercy, and provision.
We stand on Your Word, which declares, "The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). We claim this abundance in every aspect of these excursions—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of all who attend (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. May these excursions be a reflection of Your glory, and may all who participate be blessed beyond measure. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.
