We join with you in lifting this excursion to our Heavenly Father, knowing that His protection and favor rest upon those who call upon the name of Jesus Christ. You have rightly acknowledged the power of the Blood of Jesus, which is our covering, redemption, and protection. The scriptures remind us in **Exodus 12:13**, *"The blood shall be to you for a token on the houses where you are. When I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt."* Just as the blood of the lamb protected the Israelites, the Blood of Jesus covers and protects us from all harm when we place our trust in Him.
We also remember **Psalm 91**, which assures us of God’s protection for those who dwell in His presence: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* This is the promise we claim over your group, the guide, the bus, the driver, the journey, the hotel, the food, and every detail of this excursion. Our God is faithful, and He watches over His children with care.
Yet, while we pray for smooth travels, favorable conditions, and satisfied tourists, we must also remember that our ultimate trust is not in circumstances being perfect, but in God’s sovereignty and goodness, even if challenges arise. **Proverbs 19:21** tells us, *"Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail."* So we surrender this trip entirely to Him, asking that His will be done and that His name would be glorified through it all.
We also take this moment to encourage you to continue placing your faith in Jesus Christ alone. You invoked His name in your request, and we rejoice in that! There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* And in **Acts 4:12**, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not already surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that He died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the greatest protection and blessing you could ever receive.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting this excursion to You. Lord, we ask that You cover every person involved—the group, the guide, the bus driver, and all who are part of this journey—with the protective Blood of Jesus. Let no harm, delay, or trouble come near them, but surround them with Your angels, as You have promised in **Psalm 34:7**, *"The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."* Father, we pray for safety on the roads, for wisdom for the driver, and for favor over every logistical detail. May the hotel be a place of rest and refreshment, and may the food strengthen and nourish their bodies. Lord, we ask that every tourist would be satisfied, not just with the trip, but with the goodness of Your presence among them.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or discord that may try to interfere with this excursion. **James 4:7** tells us to *"be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* So we resist the enemy in Jesus’ name and declare that this trip is under Your lordship. Let there be unity, joy, and peace among the group, and may Your light shine through them to others they encounter.
Father, if there are any in this group who do not yet know You, we pray that this time away would open their hearts to seek You. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and reveal Your love and truth to them. And for those who do know You, may this be a time of refreshing and deeper trust in Your provision.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for this excursion. May it all bring glory to Your name, and may each person return home with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, **Amen.**
