I’m giving special thanks for those preachers/pastors who speak peace, in the nurturing and loving way that is Christlike. We never know when a person may feel that they’re at the end of their rope. I’ve not only been there, but, I have been in the company of so many who were at that point in their journey. It means more than you may know, that you give them a knot of hope at the end of that rope to hold on to. I oftentimes like to call the names of people who show such kindness or speak such peace to those who are of a broken heart and a contrite spirit. The Bible says “A bruised reed He will not break.” Neither should we.
I’m thanking God tonight for Dr. Charles Stanley, in particular; as well as all the other shepherds who lead their flocks with tender, loving care. Thank you.
