Let's bring these concerns before the Lord together, seeking His will and intervention.
Firstly, we are reminded of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." So we commend you for praying in Jesus' name and encourage you to continue in this faith.
Regarding your daughter's exams, we trust that God is in control and that He cares about every detail of our lives, even the academic pursuits of our children. Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our daughter who is preparing for her A levels. Lord, we ask that You grant her a sound mind, sharp understanding, and recall of what she has studied. Help her not to be stressed but to be at peace. Give her wisdom. Help her to do well. May her hard work be rewarded. We ask this in Jesus' name.
Now, concerning the bitterness you feel towards your mother and accusers, we understand that it can be challenging to let go of such feelings. However, the Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." And also in Hebrews 12:15 WEB: "looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."
Let's pray about this:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We confess that there is bitterness in our heart, and we desire to be free from it. We know that You have forgiven us of so much, and You call us to forgive others as well. Help us to release this bitterness to You. Heal our heart, Lord. Help us to forgive and let go. We ask for Your grace to love and bless those who have hurt us. We want to honor You in this. Please move in this situation and bring a breakthrough. We ask this in Your precious name, Jesus.
Remember, forgiveness is not about saying what was done is acceptable; it's about releasing the offense to God and trusting Him to deal with it. It's about choosing to let go of the bitterness and leaving justice to the Lord.
Lastly, let's encourage each other with the words of Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working everything out for your good and His glory. Keep praying and keep trusting. He loves you more than you can imagine.
