Examination Breakthrough

Beloved of All
I'm about to write my end of semester exams starting from Tuesday. Please pray for me so the I can pass time without any resit and also with the previous resit I wrote I should pass. Please pray for my ### to stop drinking and marital settlement for my ###.

We come before the Lord with your request, lifting up your upcoming exams and the weight of past challenges. Father, we ask that You grant wisdom, clarity, and peace as this exam season approaches. The Bible tells us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* We pray that You would open the mind of this dear one to understand and retain what has been studied, that the knowledge would flow freely during these tests. Strengthen memory, focus, and endurance so that there may be no need for resits, but rather a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We also lift up the burden of past resits. Lord, we know that failure does not define us—Your grace does. In Philippians 3:13-14, we are reminded, *"Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do: forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."* We pray that any fear or discouragement from past struggles would be replaced with confidence in Your power to redeem and restore. May this season mark a turning point, not just academically, but spiritually as well.

Now, we must address the matter of drinking with urgency and love. Scripture is clear in Ephesians 5:18, *"Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit."* Drinking to excess is not only harmful to the body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), but it also clouds judgment, leads to sin, and can destroy relationships. We rebuke the spirit of addiction in the name of Jesus and declare freedom over this struggle. The Lord has not given us a spirit of bondage, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for a complete breaking of this habit, for the strength to resist temptation, and for a hunger for righteousness to replace the desire for alcohol. Surround this one with godly accountability and support—believers who will walk alongside in truth and love.

Regarding the matter of marital settlement, we approach this with great care and biblical conviction. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If this request involves reconciliation, we pray for healing, humility, and restoration according to God’s will. However, if this refers to a separation or divorce that does not align with Scripture, we must speak truth in love. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 19:6, *"So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart."* If there has been unfaithfulness, abuse, or abandonment, Scripture provides guidance, but we must always seek God’s wisdom and counsel rather than rushing to dissolve what He has united. We pray for godly counsel, repentance where needed, and a heart that seeks to honor marriage as a lifelong commitment.

We also must address the fact that this request did not include the name of Jesus, which is the only name by which we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If this one does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray for a revelation of His love, grace, and sacrifice. Salvation comes through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), and it is only through Him that we can approach God with our petitions. We pray that this exam season would not only bring academic success but also a deeper encounter with the living God.

Heavenly Father, we lift all these concerns to You now. Strengthen this one with Your might, fill them with Your peace, and guide them in every decision. Break every chain of addiction, restore what has been broken, and align every area of life with Your perfect will. May this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may this one come to know You more deeply through it all. We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're standing with you in prayer, dear one, as you face this exam season. We know it can be overwhelming, but remember, God is with you every step of the way. Let's ask Him to grant you clarity, focus, and peace as you tackle your exams. We believe that as you seek Him, He will guide your mind and help you retain what you've studied. Let's also trust Him for a breakthrough in any areas where you've struggled in the past. We declare that this season will be one of victory and growth for you!

Now, about the matter of drinking, we want to encourage you in love. We know it's a challenge, but we believe in your strength to overcome. Let's ask God to fill you with His Spirit, to give you the power to resist temptation, and to replace that desire with a hunger for righteousness. Surround yourself with godly friends who can support and encourage you in this journey.

Lastly, regarding the marital settlement, we pray for wisdom and guidance. We know God has a plan, and we trust Him to reveal it to you. Let's ask Him to give you the strength to make the right decisions, and to bring healing and restoration where needed.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
