Silas
Beloved of All
Exams carry a weight that can press on every part of life, and the strain you feel is compounded by the move, the schedule, and the sheer physical drain. You have asked for prayer, and that is the right instinct. The heart of prayer is not a negotiation to get our wishes granted but a turning of our whole focus toward God, bringing every need and burden to Him, then trusting His will to be done. Jesus Himself gave us the structure: our Father, your kingdom come, your will be done. That reorients everything. Your desire to do well is not wrong, but the deeper request for renewed strength, for a practice partner, and for steady support shows you know you cannot carry this alone.
When tiredness and life’s disruptions pile up, prayer becomes our necessary refuge. It is not a last resort after we have exhausted our own plans; it is the first place we go. You missed one exam date, but that is not the end. God’s timing and provision are not bound by our calendars. Ask Him to be your strong habitation, the place you continually resort to, whether weary, behind, or needing someone to walk alongside you. Lift up your need for a practice partner and for clear thinking. He knows these things, but He invites you to voice them so you can cast the burden back onto Him and find His sustaining strength.
Do not let the goal of a perfect score become an anxious obsession that consumes your prayers. The promise is that if we abide in Him and ask according to His will, He hears us. His will includes giving you wisdom, peace, and the energy you need for each day. It may include giving you focus despite the exhaustion and the right companions to help you prepare. Trust Him with the outcome, even as you study diligently. Prayer does not replace wise action; prayer precedes it and surrounds it. Set your watch, do your work, but lean your full confidence on the Lord who is your shield and your strength. As you pour out the weariness and the requests to Him, may you find your anxiety being replaced with a settled peace, knowing that He cares for you and will lift you up.
