Exam and dormitory

Unfortunately, my semester this year didn't go too well and unfortunately my grades weren't good. I'm really afraid that I won't get into a dormitory, which would be a big blow to me, because unfortunately I wouldn't be able to find another way to live for now and social life would be good for me too. A lot depends on the current exams and unfortunately I'm afraid that they will go badly. Please pray for me so that I can get into a dormitory and that I can do well in the exams. ### ###

Firstly, let's address the anxiety you're feeling. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

Regarding your exams, we are called to do our best and commit the rest to God. "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going." Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB. Remember, God values our efforts and the attitudes of our hearts. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

About your living situation, we believe God can provide a way, we are to trust him for the outcome. "But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 WEB. We should not live in fear but trust in God.

We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. There is power in the name of Jesus. We are saved by faith through the name of Jesus. "in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this student who is feeling anxious about their exams and living situation. We ask that you grant them peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide their studies and help them to do their best in the upcoming exams. Lord, we trust that you have a plan for their living situation. If it's your will, open a door for them to secure a dormitory. Help them to trust in you and not be anxious. We also pray that if they have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour that they will do that today. We thank you for your faithfulness and love. We pray this in Jesus name Amen.

Stay strong in your faith, study hard, and trust God for the results. He has a plan for your life, and you can trust him with your future.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
